Are you actually DOING work?

is hard when you have cunts like Matt Cutts cutting off every avenue each 3 months, if its not high pr blog nets, you find yourself sanboxed on page 56 for 3 months, its ridiculous how their algos work

I am lazy so i always tell myself that i promise i must do at tomorrow. So many tomorrows.....

I face same the same problems, but I think that is hard working constantly for IM.

For example, I build a tool for auto-posting, start earning some money and then got banned... so what to do now?

Start again? Search for another method? It's hard to decide as you don't know if you are going to get banned, maybe you last 1 day or maybe 14 days... you really don't know if it's worth it.

When programming big sites or projects I get tired at the middle and they never go live... building a tool to get followers, retweets and favorites... worked for 4 days, now I don't even recognize the code.

Another problem is that maybe you are making a totally new website, you are going to make killing, then discover that everyone is starting making those sites.

IM it's complicated, but it's the live I chose. Even more if you don't speak English...

If you find clicking a mouse around and pushing a few buttons hard work, I have some bad news for you!

Why don't you stop being a bottom feeder and actually pay for traffic. There's nothing wrong with Matt Cutts, he's just doing his job protecting the search results from spamming d-bags like you. I have to admit, I was getting sick with the crap filling every search result.

A lot of IM'ers fall into the danger zone of laziness because they work from home, and home is a terrible environment if you want to be productive. This is why I have an office that I go to, because it's a work environment that actually makes you feel like getting shit done!

I'm preparing for a launch. Currently relying on other people to pull though. I hate this. But I can't do it myself so hopefully they'll pull through

i'm almost sure that you are not in the torrent uploading biz ROFL
dafuk is wrong with your connection? you can hardly browse this very forum

ISP has incompetent network engineers and have had a hiring block for 4 years. They don't know anything about network management or setup.

I'm a big fan of the following sentence :
Don't dream your life, live your dreams.

Therefore, i'm working quite a lot to make it happen. The very least i'm working is 8 hours and more likely 12 hours of effective work. Tasks vary a lot which keep me focused.

From my view, the IM world answers to same rules as the real one there ain't any shortcut to reach your goal, working is the only way.

If you are an ideas person and have alot of money to put behind your ideas, why not get others to do the work for you? and only take a salary once you are making triple the amount needed to pay everyone else

Well apparently not since I'm posting in the lounge... really just waiting for my keyword results so I can start writing some articles.

Also getting paid since I'm at the office... doing totally relevant work for my boss (>.>)

Today I realised that IM experimentations and tests methods and stuff like that was taking HUUUUUUUUUGE part of my working time, and also realised that I lost a digit in my offline businesses in those recent monthly incomes from $X.XXXX to $XXXX. at the begining I was hopping to spend all this time so i figure out how to make good money via IM but i'm stuck to 1.5 to 2k/month, it's not that easy...
I may start sepending only week ends working on IM stuff and refocus on my business. Since i've installed cameras in my office some of my trainees didn't even see me i'm like a rumour in the office or kind of touriste I only go there when I have models casting :D

Lesson: spend 70% of your time working on what already works for you and bring you $$$$(offline business, IM working lethod....). And 30% reading, learning, exeprimenting, implanting new stuff.

I'll be doing "work" when I get home from the day job at 10:30pm. Except this project doesn't feel like work because it's my baby of a site developing something I care about instead of some shitty Mns.

Its a cliche I know, but find something you care about and do that. If said thing is relaxing as in my case then you'll have a helluva job monetizing it. But monetize it I will.

I work anywhere between 10-16 hours a day but usually around the 12 mark. I don't have assigned days off as such I just take them as I have time to do so although that usually means I only ever take 1 or 2 days off a month and even then I'm doing SOMETHING IM related even if it is just reading/rss feeds etc

One of the things that has helped me put thought/idea into action and be super productive is http://www.thesecretweapon.org/the-answer

I have always being super productive and can turn things round extremely fast and had always ignored the 'Getting THings Done' mindset but I was recently introduced to TheSecretWeapon linked above and even though I have only used it for a couple of weeks so far productivty is through the freakin roof and then some - not only that but I never ever forget anything work or personal related.

TheSecretWeapon is easily one of the best changes/improvements I have made in 2012.

I recommend you all check it out!

I really only need about two hours a day to manage my two e commerce sites. I have operated them for 5 years so I am consistent about the work I do each day after all they are my bread and butter. Usually spend hours a day working/trying other methods. My wife works and is full time student so I spend a lot of time with my nine year old daughter. She will always ask me to help her with something or play a game which I think is a good thing because it gives me breaks and I feel like I come back to the pc more focused. I have back problems so she has me doing yoga with her instead of me just getting on my inversion table. Earlier we made sock puppets:)

I work 8h at my regluar job then i do alot of thinking of IM and how and what i would do trying out diffrent scenarios, if i think they are good and solid i am doing them

Having ideas is great, disciplining yourself to do the work is the hard part :)
