I go to Home Depot with the old broken part in my hand. Retard with the gauged ears and the nose ring walks up, and wants to know if he can help me.
I tell him no, he can't help me. He walks away, thinking I must know what I'm doing, and do not need any help. He doesn't know that I do need help, but a retards with gauged ears and a nose ring cannot possibly know anything of value.
Retard with tattoos on his face, and a nose ring, walks up to me and wants to know if I'm hiring. I say, "No, I'm not hiring..." Retard doesn't hear the "trailing off" part of my sentence that I don't finish, and he walks away thinking I'm not looking to hire anyone. In my mind, the sentence is finished "... hiring a retard with tattoos on his face and plastic grommets in his ears. I have professional standards to uphold, and under no circumstances would I ever allow my business to be associated with a complete fucking retards like you."
Retard with a pierced tongue, and gauged ears waits on me and my friend at the restaurant. I can't help but wonder if the retard stupid enough to pierce his tongue and wear plastic grommets in his ears might be too retarded to wash his hands after taking a shit, and then serving me my food. I also wonder about the retaurant manager that hired the human pin cushion. Maybe he doesn't put any effort in training his restaurant staff in proper food handling procedures. Maybe the store raw meat (dripping blood) over fresh produce. Maybe they don't have hot water and soap in the employees bathroom (wear they wipe their asses).
I have to put effort into finishing the meal, because I wonder these things. Tipping that retard is out of the question. If he gave a fuck about earning any money, he wouldn't have adorned himself in such a way as to cause me to wonder if he understands what microbes are, and why we have common hygiene practices. And I don't go back to that restaurant either, ever.
I see an attractive woman. Clean, well dressed, looks attractive in is generally desirable in every way. Then her douchebag boyfriend shows up, with the tattoos, the metal grommets in his face and the retarded haircut. I have to wonder what is wrong with her, that she would be with a douche like him. Now, she's NOT attractive. There must be something wrong with her. Maybe she was sexually abused as a child or something. IDK. I do know there's something fucking wrong with her. There HAS to be, after all look at the fucking retard she's with.
In business, and in life in general, you are frequently confronted with either/or choices. Either you can present yourself to the general public in a way that pleases you, or you can present yourself in a way that sends a signal of safety, normalcy and intelligence.
Personally, I associate intelligence with hygiene. There's a difference between "dirt" and filth. The growing popularity of products like "Axe" that seem to market themselves as a substitute for a bath, and products like "Febreze" that are sold as a fast way of making a filthy house smell clean, indicate to me that there is a significant percentage of the population that do not know or care what clean is. As long as it looks a certain way, and smells a certain way, that's good enough for them.
But not for me. I expect things to BE clean. I'm not patronizing a restaurant managed by and staffed by a workforce that are obviously retarded, because retards don't wash their hands after wiping their asses. They don't see the point of doing it.
It's a complex series of associations I am attempting to describe here, and it's an either/or choice. You care about what things look like, and/or what they smell like, or you care about what they are. You care about what people appear to be, or you care about what they DO.
I'm about reality. I care about what IS, and what actually happens. Human pincushions and other circus freaks are an indicator of de-evolution; backsliding into barbarism. They voluntarily go back to a time when the human race didn't understand about microbes, and the importance of wiping your ass, and then washing your hands with hot water & soap.
