how to own Reddit ?

I went through all the old threads on reddit and got some useful information but recently my posts have been ghosted or for some reason are not working like the first couple.
I tried using different proxies, different accounts but my posts seem to be getting ghosted. any idea how to fix this?

I worked on a bot for weeks, had Proxy support, account creator ETC. and got absolutely no where with it. Their spam prevention is top notch and it's impossible to make it to the front page if you're trying to spam or do anything out of the ordinary, because a moderator has to approve the front page posts.

Believe me, I wasted tons of time on this and then finally gave up. I'd suggest doing the same, but that's just my two cents. Goodluck!

I came up with a way to profit and not spam, personally I dont care to much about getting first but rather just a few hundred clicks every time I post

I was ghosted too, and tried a sponsored post. Waste of $100. I think if you're ghosted even your sponsored posts go ignored.

Front page posts don't require moderator approval (I moderate two large subreddits). As far as the spam prevention system goes, reddit has a few really complicated algorithms to detect if a user is authentic or spam.

To bot reddit you'll need:

- Aged accounts with comment karma (enough to the point that you don't get captchas on the comment posts)
- Login to each account with the same IP or range that you created it on
- Have the accounts blindly surf reddit for a couple hours a day (this includes having legit referers and such) - all the while passing out upvotes/downvotes on random posts and comments
- When upvoting a thread, visit the thread's subreddit, then visit /new/ with the subreddit as the referer, then visit the thread and upvote from there (if it's a self post - otherwise visit the post link then go back and upvote)

Your best bet to get all of this done is probably to have a browser extension that legit users have installed on their browsers to check for new commands from your server. If there is a new command, have the user upvote the post. It's the only genuine way to do it without making it looks spammy or fake.

Edit: If anyone is interested in seeing how they detect spam, check out their source @ http://code.reddit.com/ (You'll need to know how to at least READ Python).

If there is a new command, have the user upvote the post. It's the only genuine way to do it without making it looks spammy or fake.

You can pretty much own reddit without doing anything. Just post great content. But yes if you're trying to get around the algorithm you'll need aged accounts and a whole lot of work. Also, it would help if the accounts are aged variously. But even with all that, you'll get no where if you don't have great content.
