ARTICLEWYZ CHANGES - USER SUBMITTED ARTICLES, ARTICLEBUILDER WITH IMAGE AUTOSCRAPING

We have implemented several changes in how User Submitted Articles being uploaded and processed.
- All articleset merged together in one tab
- Added images autoscraping
- Articles are uploaded not to the root or the project, but to articleset, so no need to create new project every time to send one spun article out.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Go to Articleset tab, click "New Articleset"

2. Enter Name and select one of the content sources. Choose "Own Articles" for user submitted articles. Enter keywords for image scraping if needed

3. Save Articleset and now you can upload articles one by one, as a batch or in the zip file

4. Preview Articleset to see content merged with images and links

I followed these directions and no images are showing up when I preview the article.

This is an AMAZING IDEA. This is called Link blending:

Link blending is the process of building links to your site as well as other authoritative sites. Lets say for example you have a website that sells bicycles online and you convinced one of your female friends, Michelle, who runs a mom blog to write a blog post about your bicycle site.


If you are trying to rank for the keyword "affordable bikes" you probably going to nudge your friend to link to your website with the anchor text "affordable bikes" because the more sites that link to yours with that anchor text, the higher you will theoretically rank.


If you want to rank really high, you want to ideally become an authority site. One way to do that is to keep on getting more and more links, but this ends up becoming very expensive in the long run.


Another way to do it is to get sites to link to you as well as other authority sites on the same page so that way search engines will start treating your website the same way they may treat other authority sites like New York Times or Wikipeda...they rank extremely high for almost every term out there.


So going back to your friend Michelle, who runs a mom blog, you wouldn't just have her link to your website, but in that same blog post you'll want her to link to a Wikipedia article on the history of bicycles, and a study Harvard did on bicycle safety for kids.

Feature requests:

1. Ability to search for subtopic keywords when using Article Builder (just like they have on their site).
2. Only use linkset/anchor text if it matches the actual keyword in the article (very useful for user submitted articles). Instead of just randomly inserting an anchor text link in the middle of a random sentence.

Also, are "tags" still coming? I didn't see it on the update list. I really can't wait for the 2 linksets per article set. I definitely need that.

I logged in today to my master wyzard account to find out that nothing has been posted in the last two weeks. If I go into my 5 article sets, they all say posts have been made every day including today, but nothing has. I think it has something to do with changes you might have made to user submitted articles? because now each article set is showing NO articles, however in the user submitted articles section I still have 15 left... what do i do????

ARTICLEWYZ UPDATE - MORE FLEXIBLE (AND MUCH EASIER) SCHEDULING

From the inception of the system we had idea of fixed contract between Articletset and the Blog in the form of Poster. Each Poster had scheduling options for Blog it's responsible for, tracked successful and failed attempts, etc. Everything in the system was about creating and executing Poster on schedule. Solid approach that gets us where we are right now, processing up to 50k successful posts per day.
But more we were extending system functionality more we realized limitation of the model
- if you add another blog to the project you have to re-create posters
- it's impossible to post to blogs outside of the project (one of the most frequent request we have lately)
- while working great for continuous posting it's hard to configure single blast
- and more important it was the most popular questions from every new member - "what is poster?", "where is poster?" and so on.
We have just deployed system with completely re-designed posting component. We have got rid of posters and simplified procedure of setting up schedule and posting.
Now every article set has explicit schedule and can be configured to post to a "group of blogs" insead of individual blog. At the moment we have implemented only one group "all blogs in the project", but we are step away from allowing to post to all blogs in account and creating custom blog groups.
Blog Group is dynamic, as soon as you add new blogs in the project articleset will start scheduling and posting to every blog in the group.
