Just a quick question: Is mass uploading pictures from your blog onto Pinterest good for higher rankings on Google? Each Pin is a social media backlink. Also, do repins count as another backlink?

I was wondering the same but I think that the links will all be from the same ip address so might not be worth much....not sure

I tried it and received a super insignificant increase in impressions, which is inconclusive.
