GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

Was thinking it would be epic to have a feature were we can for example choose to just post to pligg sites. And then it goes through all the pligg sites and posts just the selected bookmark ? Would kill sick submitter !

What do you mean exactly? You can already just post to pligg sites if you want to. Can you elaborate?

I think it means get GSA to only post to an outside list of Pligg sites that is imported vs searching for sites also while posting. This might be possible now but I do not know how to get it to do this. Importing a target list is easy but I am not sure it is possible to ONLY use that list and nothing else.

I believe the goal would be to speed up the submissions by only targeting a narrow list of sites to post on.

No more updates since 1-2 weeks? Not that it needs updates but there were daily updates so far :)

All you do is uncheck all search engines in the project options (right click in search engine box > check none) and the software will only use the imported list and won't scrape new targets from the search engines. ;)

This has been mentioned already a few times in the past few pages and is also a sticky on the GSA forum.

GSA is waiting for their code signing certificate from Comodo to be renewed so they can put out an update. If they don't do this then it would probably flag everyone's anti-virus and cause issues. Hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer. (fingers crossed)

Even though no updates have been pushed out, Sven is still able to code and improve things.

Patience ;)

Anyone knows how to do that gsa read a random file in a folder which content is in spyntax, then spin the article and submit it?

Is this one?

%spinfolder-<folder>%

It seems that this one is for spun content but not content with spyntax.

And its possible to add links, images, videos randomly in the article every time is spinned by gsa?

Social networks accept img and videos embedded in articles as in webs 2.0?

it should be done like this:

%spinfolder-c:\myarticles\% if you want it to randomly grab an article from c:\myarticles folder.

If you want an exact file, you use this:

%file-c:\myarticles\bigarticle.txt%

If the contents are spintax, GSA knows to automatically unspin a unique copy for each post. You can always test what is going to happen by clicking the "TEST" button to see what the sample output is going to be. I have always found during testing that it will generate a unique copy of spun syntax with each test.

The one thing to keep in mind is not to use the same folder of articles for every related project - the randomization will not work right and I have noticed issues with sometimes no text being pulled (title, summary and article blank) if you have more than 2 projects pulling off the same folder for random article content. Its easy enough to just save it to a unique folder then have the project pull off of that.

Question about article linking at the bottom - Santos perhaps you can have Sven change this (or Ozz)

I am noticing almost all article links look like the following (that I have checked)

If your ready to find out more on [my keyword anchor text here] take a look at hxxp://www.mysite.com

It always seems to put in your URL after your linking keyword terms, as a text post. It does variations of the above text, but it is always the same from what I can tell - anchor text live link then plain text URL.

After looking in the article script files, it appears that comment type is hard coded. I checked Article Beach.ini and found the "auto add anchor url content=" section telling it to always do links this way with %url_domain%%url_path% always included in the text. Always putting the URL as a text post after the anchor text would appear to be creating a footprint which is undesirable.

It would be more beneficial to NOT always have it put the domain URL in the text. I am not sure how many engines are coded like this but the spintax should be changed to vary it up, sometimes put that in, sometimes not. I would change it manually but upon next update it will just get wiped and replaced.

if you don't want your edited scripts to be overwritten, than rename it from "Article Beach . ini" to "My Article Beach . ini" for instance and check this in your project instead of the "original" one.
Once you notice that the original script has changed you can edit the changes in your other script.

Good point/idea - not sure why I did not think of that myself. Thanks.

Another quick question iv built some links and obviously tiered my campaign however when i go to look through some of my verified links seem to just end up nowhere not linking back to tiers etc is this the site im posting on doing the cutting? As some profiles dont have my urls on them or have the url but with half cut off etc

Ozz is the man when it comes to the scripts. :)

I do agree that having that %url_domain% in there all the time is a footprint. Hopefully I can convince Sven to remove it by default. :P

The URL was cut off? That's odd. Are you sure they're formatted correctly? That's the only thing I could think of that would do something like that. Maybe it's the site or if you want to send me the link I can try and post on it and see if it cuts my link off.

Not sure without seeing it.

If I set up 3 different campaigns that all use the same catchall domain email with:
%spinfile-names.dat%{.|-|_}%spinfile-lnames.dat%@mydomain.info

How does the email verification work if it is the dame email for different campaigns? Does the parser know to look for a certain spin like [email protected] for a certain registration? How does that work and can they step on top of each other?

I'm not sure exactly, but I believe Sven has recommended using catchall so it shouldn't cause conflicts as far as I know. I sent him a message about this and I'll let you know.

Although Sven couldn't send out the updates due to Comodo's SSL... but be patient, guys... I believe when he sends out the update, it's gonna be HUGE!!!

Hi Santos,

I think there is a problem while submitting to MediaWiki sites. While GSA is posting a new page, it is using "About Yourself" as article content. It should use "Article" while posting the article content imo.

Please check it.

MediaWiki engine will post full articles if you check the "Put URL in places where it is clearly seen as spam" option in Settings > Options

I hope next update will improve web 2.0 postings. No matter what (captchas, proxies etc.), I can only get 5 verfied web 2.0 links.
