A n00bs [JOURNEY] on ClickBank

Well, starting off I will say that I actually have no idea what I am doing with ClickBank, making this all the more interesting.
I am going to start off with the goal of getting ONE sale, as I don't really know how to go about even that much.

I am an avid gamer with an extensive background in writing and that is about all I have going for me at the time.
I signed up for a ClickBank account today and found an offer for a game guide on the popular MMO, World of Warcraft, in which I play and know quite a bit about.
I chose a newer one with a lower Gravity in hopes of finding lower competition.
I created a Blogger URL and wrote a post about the guide, linking my CB page in it.
I write an article and submitted it to Ezine with the URL of my Blogger account in it.

So far, nothing of course, but let's see what happens.
Any suggestions will be taken into consideration along the way.

UPDATE :

Messed around with a Yahoo Answers method mentioned on the forum, adding a CB link in the mix as well to try something out.
Don't know how it will go, but just weighing some options.

Good luck. I would create a YouTube channel and a few videos on the game/guide. You could do some review ones where you are just basically reading your own blog post out, with some pictures of the game/guide as a slideshow in the background, or get creative and do a full walk-through of the guide and use Camtasia to record it. If you don't own it, contact the vendor and ask for a copy to help promote it, I get all-sorts of free products after I become their affiliate. Have all these videos linking back to your blog post or cloaked affiliate link. Gaming's huge on YouTube so it should get your some easy traffic

UPDATE: I am actually still waiting on articles to get published & Clickbank decided to implement a "risk" system as well, so I am not sure if the method will stay exactly as planned.
