don't sell on fiverr. Fiverr is not for seller bad support only listening to buyers even if they are wrong. They have the right to give you wrong feedback. You spent time work etc is nothing and one negative feedback damage all your hardwork.

You can always ask buyer to make multiple orders of the same service to compensate the time the seller puts into delivering the service. Simple as that.

Thats exactly what I think about it but I was curious to hear about others experience on it using programming.

However, I have seen what xrfanatic mentioned which does make sense like they set a extremely small amount of time and scaling times for extra purchases and have a strict guideline of what will be done within the time.

Nothing. Everything I code takes more than an hour and I charge $60 an hour if I freelance. However, considering that I can code upfront and then do virtually nothing (except updates/support) and sell many copies on freelance sites such as these, I still sell on SEOClerks for $19 rather than fiverr for $5. Under $20 gets more buyers (I dunno why) and still almost 4x the amount I get than on fiverr.

$5 for my hard work is shit.

Ouch! that's rough. Please are offering custom wp templates for $5 lol. What has the world come to? If I ever had to sell anything programming related on Fiverr, it might be a wp plugin that I was mass selling or something. Not individual, custom things.

Code something many can use but is fairly simple and probably only worth less than $20. Sell an I'll give you ____ program for $5 and sell it to a bunch of people, easy gig because you only have to code once.

As a programmer, selling on fiverr is not the best way you can use your time at all. There are other sites like freelancer that pay a lot better for similar projects. If you are not good enough, just invest some time in learning.
