Does anyone still bother with tier 1 spun content backlinks?

I noticed the majority of buy sell services are software automated spun tier 1 web 2.0s etc etc. I haven't felt like pointing spun tier 1 at sites was a good idea for a long time now. Does anyone still do this, what are your results?

You can do web2.0's with spun content for first tier. But you have to build those manually and edit themes as well. You have to add meta contents (Most automation software failed to do this). Don't forget to add image/video. I'm sure this will work.

I dunno just seems like a bad idea if your site was ever manually reviewed. I tried looking at the BST section, and pretty much every link package is some variation of crap automated spun links and claim to be "white hat / panda proof etc". Haven't seen any decent BST products in awhile that fit the new algo changes.

Not saying SEO is dead, just saying most BST stuff has no value anymore. Quality links also are extremely expensive now so ROI may be getting lower in that perspective. Also with all the updates shit sites and bad sites get treated almost the same.

SEO is very much alive, but you cant use spun content on your Tier 1 sites. Those need to be treated as the money sites themselves. They are directly linking to your money site, so why do you want to risk it?

If at all, use spun content for your Tier 2-3. To be honest, I don't use spun content at all! That's an outdated method now.

It's not true. how many of the service you have tested?
You have to understand that, a single service won't place your website in top 10 of serp. You have to try two or three different services to obtain best results.

Same for me. No spun content touches my site whatsoever. All Tier 1 is unique and original content. Article builder for Tier 2-3. My results have been great.

What is worse...to submit duplicate copies of the same article or to spin it? Or just don't do either and do every submission to every site unique? I just hear from other places that there's too many people concerned about duplicate articles (within reason, of course...I'm not suggesting the same article to 10,000 article and wiki sites...)

My suggestion is to spin the articles MANUALLY, to ensure complete readability. And of course, follow the other advice above (create the sites manually, vary themes, inclyde photos and videos etc.)

Original content will always be better then the spun content. However spun articles are not useless. The thing is you can create a huge number of web 2.0 with spun content.
Personally I now try to build tier-1 sites as unique as possible.

It depends on the quality of spun text if it is of good quality and readable, it wont be a big deal. However, giving your visitors the spun text just doesn't seems like a good idea.
