prq looks very interesting... they're Swedish from what I can see on the site... I believe piratebay is hosted in Sweden.

Good insight with the language barrier... from my experience, I've always had to call atleast once or create a support ticket because of an issue with hosting whether it be hostgator or godaddy. If there is no English support, you might be in trouble.

Well you don't see many companies that break down DMCA and are on the market for almost 10 years and claim to have good SLA. Just my 2c. I wanted to try them out for something but havent had the chance yet.

Other good points I see with them is that they have their own AS so you know they are a provider and they have their address stamped on their site, some other sites only give you an email or helpdesk and no other information to back them up.

Some big russian warez sites are hosted on ecatel.(net)
A friend of mine told me they are good.

They don't specially if it is warez related, if it is just about linking you may get away but if you are hosting warez you better prepare yourself.

Had a friend of mine running a upload site they shut him down due to DMCAs
 
Can you ask your friend if he got a warning first or was he shut down on first notice? I was running something shady on their
server, through reseller, it never went big, but never had any problems.

He got 3 DMCA for files that had been uploaded and removed the files on the 3rd they shut his account down claiming illegal activities bla bla bla.
 
RMX is looking good...I'm gonna try them. BTW bandwidth is not mentioned on their dedicated server page.

I recommend prq.se and yes, they are a little expensive. But complete anonymity has a price :)

Their support speaks english
