I tried to renew my jr vip membership as it expires in 1-2 days and i got to pay 116.40 to renew it ?
Wtf happened ;p?

20% Vat? WTF? Where is BHW located? If they're in the US, why do they comply with international tax?

Bhw is a vat registered business in the uk

leave Europe if you don't want to pay tax or get an American business partner

What the Vat :P

Is it possible for a usa guy to upgrade my account and pay him ? 20% is lot more :O

ITT: Ridiculousness...

How are you online and don't know what VAT is?

How do you not know where BHW's server is?

How do you not know VAT is applied by the country, just like some state sales tax apply online in the US?

And people wonder why they aren't making money.

I paid $116...

If a BHW official can send me the VAT number so I can claim it back I would love you long time.

So if a EU Member uses a US proxy to renew then who's to know? Not sure, but I think someone owes this american fattie a Big Mac and a super-sized fries.

With the $97 you are giving back to this forum, with the additional $19.40, you are helping a nation build a better infrastructure, in a way, among many other good things, for your own benefits. Widen up your horizons, mate!

Mate, for $19.40 I can register a domain and host it for a year. With that domain I can then average $1 per day for that year.Taxes on that $1 per day come out to roughly $24.Thus it is in the governments best interest for you to skip the VAT and get one of us fat, slimey american bastards to renew your JR. VIP.You know, for the crown.Cheers,Veive.

Why spare that $19.40 even? Keep it and the $97 along with it.

When you want to give back to the forum, give back a little to the place it is in and the people that made it possible too. Help all related, or none... Not a big deal!:)

so it meant when i am gonna upgrade to vip
i have to use usa ip?
still confused

The solution is not upgrade! I requested the bhw vat number to deduct the vat but no reply.
And last thing: why pay some admin?? BHW is good and big not for the admins work but by the great value content that members posts.... so for me the money are to give to members and not to the admins
just my 2 cent
