Hi,

a few days ago I started my micro niche site. What am I a bit bothering is, if I am able to generate needed traffic. I wrote 6 articles, started social bookmarking and want to add yet AdWords.

But here ends up the list of ways, how I plan to generate traffic for the site.
I would like to ask you, if you could give me any tips in this field...

Thank you

Write a press release about the site, submit it to 15 or more PR directories.

Buy a gig from somebody who will submit the release to Google news.

Make a couple of videos related to the niche, upload to YouTube with your link in the description or watermarks. Load the video up with views, comments, likes and favorites. Or, contact somebody who already has a related viral video on YT, rent or JV your link into their video as above.

Answer a lot of questions in Yahoo Answers until you reach level 2, then answer questions related to the site and post a useful url from the site as part of the answer.

Post a classified in eBay about a related service/product, link to your site.

Post classified in offline papers (most efficiently, through an online service) linking to your site.

Subscribe to Google Alerts about your exact niche, and when G sends you fresh info about new content on the topic appearing on the web, go to the sites and place comments with a link to your url.

That kind of thing. Most of all, study traffic threads and member downloads on BHW to get the lowdown on the details on these methods and others.

When I see people with traffic problems it makes me smile. They really can't be fucked to get a good investment in niche research before hand? Sigh, you can solve every traffic problem with a bitch smack ...

Submit articles with your site link to popular article directories like ezinearticles, go articles, snipsly etc and make 4-5 Web 2.0 for your site, this will surely help you to gain more traffic and good ranking on search engines for your keyword.

It sounds like you are going to have to buy traffic as you don't know any other way to get it. Adwords is not for beginners. I would suggest you contact other website owners in your niche and see if any offer advertising on their sites.

Also try to find site owners in your niche who have email lists and see if you can work out a deal to send something to their list like a free gift to get subscribers and increase traffic to your site.

Media Buys are awesome for beginners, they learn so fast that their sales copy sucks.

Man, it seems like there is a thread every day that says "how do I get traffic?"

I know this IM stuff can be quite daunting at first, especially for a noob (I'm still pretty much a noob myself) But "how do I get traffic?" is pretty much what this entire forum is about. It's not something that can be fully explained in one thread.

Read, read, read. Experiment and learn.

Right now, you must get unique and good quality articles written for your niche and submitted to the top directories, like ezine and all, give out press releases to PR directories. This is what you should do for now, as is not a one step game it requires time and focus, you can just get it all done in just one thread.

getting traffic has too many ways.

SEO or Advertising your Ads, both have their costs.

For the long run, SEO traffic is the best what you look for, submit your website to the highest social networks and directories.

I love how arrogant little shits with less than 10 years of internet marketing experience consider other people "beginners." :)
