Too young to make money online?

Hey guys, I've been lurking for awhile now and I've found some simply amazing advice. I really want to put some things to the test and begin experimenting and hopefully earning money, but I always run into the same problem: My age! I'm 17, and nearly every plan I've had so far required me to have Paypal, ebay, etc. Sadly most of these sites require that you're 18. Of course I could lie about my age or whatever but I'd really hate to give them that much of a reason to take my earnings. So I guess my questions is this, is there any way to make money online without being 18, and without breaking any rules that would cause you to lose your money?

No, I am just 15 and I am working everythere! Investing, creating, sometimes programming, playing poker! Use fake birth date, and if You want to use paypal don't send many times money, because You will get a limit and use it clearly Good luck!

You seem to be very mature. Lying about your age would not fit into that picture. If you want to play it safe, then wait.

However, you can already start building your business without making money for now.

Start with a niche website about something that you like and build a following via your blog, Twitter, Facebook or - and that's where the money is - via your own list.

Not doing blatant advertising can be beneficiary for you since many people will like your "style" of providing information (and entertainment) without messing around with foul deals.

Build your list and when you're 18 you'll have gathered not only future buyers but also a lot of experience which will ultimately prevent you from LOSING money by making stupid decisions

Thank you both for the replies, I guess I'm going to get started. After I think about it there are countless things I can do to begin earning traffic before I actually monetize. If I start now I'll thank myself when I turn 18!

4Fowr - just remember do everythink patiently, and if You want to use paypal don't send many money, if You sended payment wait 1 day, send another, if You have got more than 500$, just send it to friends, they will give You real money. Btw create Liberty Reserve, Payza they are great!

Hit the nail on the head. Build your customers up now, while all you can do is give therm quality. When you are 18 you will have a head start on many many things, and your success will come much faster.

Age doesn't matter (unless you are doing offline marketing, meeting face to face). I've been doing IM for over about 4 years now and I've never ran into any issues because of my age, I use my brothers PayPal, I never lie about my age (I don't say it out loud, but if a person asks me, I don't lie).

It is about your mindset and not your age! Start now, don't give up and in few years you will be happy that you started that early.

I don't think your age matters! Get your dad to recieve the money if you make some. You're lucky! My mom didn't tell me about internet marketing, at the age of 20

I'm pretty sure payza doesn't ask for dob when making an account,and many ad networks don't as well.
