Belize company with a Cyprus bank account *works fine*

Hey navimeister! Do you have this kind of account? Does it currently work fine for you or is it just a past experience? Also, is that Cyprus account your personal account? Thanks.

Cyprus is part of EU. Therefore names of company directors, owners and beneficiaries are pretty much public record for revenue services of EU and US.

I am not paying taxes, of course.

Haha that's the right spirit. Concerning where to have the bank account I would go for Hong Kong. Countries around the world having huge problem with tax agreement with China, mainly because they are becoming richer and richer and therefore the western countries don't want to get in trouble with China.

Your money would probably will be safe there for another 10 years.

One other place to look into is Singapore. They are probably the most financially secure country in the world.

Take a look at Panama. They are offering some attractive incentives for offshore business prospects. Also, retiree's or semi-retired individuals are being offered VERY attractive incentives for years to come. Check it out.

Some people here state wrong information. HongKong Gov is only interested to charge you tax on territorial income. You can easily open a corporate bank account in hongkong, that is NOT connected with a HK company and they have no handle on you.

Since you said you are in asia frequently.. If you are in HK personally it will take you 6000HKD and your passport, 2 forms signed, pick a name, to open up a BVI company. I week later collect the company papers, make appointment and head over to HSBC Tsim Tsa Tsui Corporate Branch and open a corporate bank account. You will have to present them some bank letter as address proof from your home country. Come well dressed and present them some story of you being advisor or trader or online marketer and you will put through half a mil USD a year. They will want to talk with you about HK bond investment and stuff.. play along and tell them you have large stacks ready to move to HK :)

Get the security device and register for online banking and you can put through thousands of USD as you please, no questions asked. HSBC gives a rats ass if you wire out 50K USD every week. The accounting company that registered your BVI company will email you every year and you have to send them the company renewal fee, i think its 600$. They will do it for you and keep the papers in their office or can send them to you, so you dont have to go there personally again.

I am doing this for 2 years without any issues. search for 'charmway accounting' hongkong. I have 2 companies registered with them.

I also have a UK company, that is helpful if you register for a merchant account... more trustful than Uk Company. Just use the same name for it as like your BVI company and you can refer to your corporate bank account in HK when you apply.

Search Coddan Uk and take the 'economy' package for non-uk residents (unless you ARE actually british.) 82 Pounds. They will email you the papers. Hope that helps.

You could try out Panama or Belize? I think Panama is one of the best.

But let's say you live in Europe and have a bank account and company in another place like hong kong. How do you get money out of there???

I mean if you are buying high priced items all the time in your country and stuff like that aren't they going to track you down???

I think you can buy the stuff with the offshore company, but not totally sure. I know in the U.S. foreign companies are allowed to buy real estate which makes it a good loophole to bypass capital gains taxes when investing in high value real estate you buy as a company(owned by a holding company) then sell the company instead of the house.

any advice for indian citizen to form offshore company.. and which is best cost effective and safe location..

What's the difference between having a Hong Kong LTD or a BVI? I'm having a HK LTD and is all great.

I think is better company in Belize or Seyshelles and account in Swiss or Cyprus bank...for EU citizens

Is it easy for any EU citizen to open an account in Cyprus? That account would be a personal account or the Belize's company account?
If you live in a country that's been getting financial aid from the "troika"(EC, ECB, IMF) won't they look at why you're doing that, and then grab you by the balls and get you:crucified? :D

Thanks for the info.

You can form a Hong Kong company thru Conson Ltd. (google them)about 1250.00 usd, they set up and maintain a virtual office and address for you, 350.00 per year for lic and tax filing, (No tax) then go to HSBC Bank in HK and open your account offshore.. takes a hefty deposit to keep it fee free but its ok, safe and accessible almost anywhere.. 6 years experience without a hitch.

if ur in aia go for Singapore or HK.

A friend of mine, Canadian highly recommended Panama to me but I do know that he went in person to take care of things.

Does anyone know if it's possible to open an offshore corporate bank account in Hong-Kong (any bank) without the physical presence?

Cheers

Hongkong is one of the most strict countries when it comes to that, so no, not really.
Some companies claim they are able to do it, but I wouldn't trust it. On their website it says they will "do their best" to introduce you, if it doesn't work, you will lose that money.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to take a trip there then.
Another question: say I want to register an online business in Seychelles and have a bank account in HK. Since the Seychelles government doesn't require filing any audit reports and keep books, would it theoretically be possible to use the company credit card for my personal use in my home country? Would that cause any problems with the HK bank?
