Well at times there are certainly some things you run into that just make you go 'WHAT THE F**K IS THAT ALL ABOUT?"

for instance, i read something a few minutes ago on another site - tried it out for myself and sure enough, i've just had another of those "WTF" moments.

see if you can explain it, because i sure can't. here it is, you type the word ILLUMINATI backwards and you get

'itanimulli'

stick a .com on the backend of it, paste that url into your web browser and see where you end up and once you've gone 'fuck me' come back here and tell me if you don't think its plain wrong and that somebody out there isn't just openly laughing in our faces.

Or... Someone purchased that domain and did a 301 redirect to the NSA website to perpetuate the rumour of a conspiracy, the hock their products and use this example as 'proof'.

It's not even a good conspiracy theory. NSA.gov is like the poster of the NSA. It's not like that particular URL has any login functionality or anything whatsoever.

C'mon man, use your brain. If the illuminati were the government, and needed to show it's 'members' secret documents, they wouldn't link to the public front end of their website. That's retarded.

WOW. It took like 3 minutes to climb back on my chair... That URL blew me away, literally. A few seconds after I clicked it, my webcam's led started blinking and my pc froze. And this is exactly why so many people fall for conspiracy theory crap. The slightest thing and suddenly "IT ALL MUST BE TRUE"

The reality is someone registered that and redirects to nsa.gov to try and convince gullible people that the illuminati are behind the nsa.

Yeah that's exactly it and it's why people believe in crap. When people don't understand something they immediately make a huge leap in logic and conclude that everything that someone's been saying must be true.

Like, someone says "the queen is an alien reptile, the illuminati exist, blah blah" then they show you a reversed domain like that and suddenly because of that 1 little thing you don't understand you assume everything they've said is true.

It's basically how brainwashing works. Conspiracy theories target the members of society who aren't equipped with sound reasoning abilities.
