Win 7 c drive filling up?

I have installed win 7 and turn off auto updates, in just few month around 70 GB of my disk space is filled up, not sure why? how can i clean it and remove the unnecesary win file? I had checked no virus? clean the recyle bin etc

Thats due to installed applications, try to instal games in other partition always, see if you can uninstall any unnecessary applications,(In control pannel in "add and remove program" you can see the memory consumed by various installed apps)

My suggestion is increase your c drive size upto 100-150 GB to use W7 or W8 .

Disk cleanup> more options> cleanup shadow copies/system restore files. Easy.

Use the Teuneup Software to clean your hard drive

Use WinDirStat to see what folders are taking the most of the space

I'm on a 120GB SSD. Using around 110GB for OS + Programs. No games, no bloatware.

70GB sounds very good for your OS. If you are not separating your data on other drives (for example I have 5x2TB drives), then maybe you should look into a bigger hard drive, disk cleaners as others are suggesting are good but I think would fix a problem that you don't necessarily have.

Run the disk cleanup utility and it will free up any useless files on your drive.

Tuneup Utilities is a good program for things like this, get the free trail. Delete your system recovery backups, windows update backups, and everything else you don't need.
