most recently i have been reading a lot about bulk mailing/spamming, it seems like it is no problem at all to get lots of targeted emails and mass mailing them in a secure fashion...
but however isn t it still super easy catching the guys doing that, by just taking a look at their aff-link? since i have read that there is no absolute way of cloacking your links, i mean the feds could just demand clickbank to give out the name of the person associated with it, or? furthermore those persons couldn t register at clickbank under a fake name, because then there wouldn t be a chance of getting payed and even if they manage to accomplish that, they would just need to check the banktransactions...
does the can-spam act still apply if the spammer is seated outside the us in a country where spam is permitted in its own fashion? now that i read that i think they would just inform the police in that country, which leaves the question which law applys the one of the spammed or the spammers country....
btw. these anti-spam laws are so dumb if you take into consideration that we are all day long spammed in our lives ( just think about carnival barkers... ), i mean marketing a legitament product, which might help people shouldn t be illegal. but as long as some fat politicians are making the big money from company diets everything is ok... nothing better then keeping the little man down...
