Shared hosting server was down for few hours. It was fixed within 1-2 hours
Please open a ticket and include your VPS login details. One of the VPS nodes is currently down and I am trying to fix it ASAP, your VPS is most likely on that server but I won't know for sure until you open a ticket.
Also my website shouldn't be slow. It's working fine for me

My VPS at Hostamus is slow. I have to go up two levels to upgrade it....$90 a month. I have been advised to change services because the Internet connection is slow too. I hate to do this as I have everything already setup on their server. No way I can pay $90 so it looks like I have no choice. I run Scrapebox and GSA. It takes forever to use these with Hostamus. Maybe I have it configured wrong but I have no way of knowing as I have contacted support and only get canned responses regarding their pachages.

As I said in the ticket your using 100% CPU/RAM causing the server to lock up and run extremely slow.

Seeing as you have been with me for a while and the server node your VPS is on has a few gig of ram free I can add 1GB RAM for free. That should help. Reply to your ticket or open a new one when you want me to add it (server will need to go down for a few minutes) or adding me on skype will probably be best (hellomotow2007)

Just wanted to drop a note about our experience with hostamus.
We were in need of 24 vps's and I shopped around a good bit. I narrowed my list of hosts down and decided to contact them via skype. (their contact info is in the OP). This was on a Thursday evening. I had a nice chat with Damien and told him what we were looking for and what we planned on doing with the vps's. He said no problems but it may take him 36 hours or so to get them all set up. Mind you most hosting companies take up to 48 hours to set up one vps let alone 24. Everything sounded good to me and off we went. He had the first batch set up within a few hours and by Saturday morning all 24 were set up ready to go. The communication has been excellent and they have bent over backwards to make sure we have been taken care of. To me the customer support aspect is way more important that the actual server specs, speed, ect. (BTW their vps's do perform well) I don't care what specs you order up there are going to be hiccups from time to time. How those hiccups are handled and the communication is the most important issue when choosing a new host. Now it's only been a week but so far hotamus has given us the best customer support from any hosting company we have ever had. And we have over 100 vps's/dedicated spread over many many companies.
I look forward to working with them for a long time and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
