So one of my sites got hit last update. This is how I got it back. Very simple!

Write a lott of content! Also some small 100-200 words articles which are extra information for my bigger pages and link them using my keywords. If your site has 10.000 words content, write atleast 2.000 extra words. More pages is good as well. Not every post has to be 1000+ words. So far most of mine where/

My site is EMD.

Offpage.

Few links are being built but only like 10-20 highly spunned web2.0 only using URL's no keywords used.

When the rankings improved further I will update the thread. I am not yet back to where I was and some keywords are still disapeared from the serps!

Congratulations and thanks for the share. Indeed, adding content to your site on a REGULAR basis is a sign of a good quality site for Google and the chances to gain (or regain) a top position are sizeable.

" link them using my keywords"

Link to ... ?

...linking the new small 100-200 words articles to the old bigger pages.
I think it was clear enough from the beginning...

Yea content is ultra important - I have reminder set in my online diary every day to write a new page for my main EMD.

Inter linking good idea as well.

So how much traffic (%) did you regain after adding some articles?

For the site in question I got back to 75% of original traffic but I am confident I will get back the 100% in no time, and even get more than before! Since new keywords are popping up.

Excellent! May your site grow to the top of search rankings. Content always rocks :)

Something that I like to go by is this...

The cost of good quality content is always worth it. Not only that, but it is a better investment than increasing off-site SEO most of the time.

With the title saying panda, penguin and emd, it's hard telling what you might be trying to recover from... We need Scooby to sort out this mystery.

Given the nature of the update cycles, and the solution of throwing 100 word editorials at the problem, it seems very clear that this has nothing to do with panda or penguin.

The emd equalizer, which leveled the playing field for emd vs non-emd domains, simply removed a bit of your default juice. Any type of backlinks or content should help you climb back. It's basic SEO101 at this point = content + backlinks FTW.

One question to please you guys mean to say that instead of a keyword of site in anchor text we should write click here or site url confusion here please help..
