How To Promote My eBay Store?

So I have sold just over $2,000 worth of items in 3 weeks (legit account) but my profits are VERY small, less than 10%

Sometimes I don't sell for 3 days but on the 4th day I get like 3 sales

That is 100% because my items are barely getting viewed

How can I promote my store outside eBay? Is targeted traffic the only way to go?

Simple:

First, fill up your store with as much inventory and stock as you can.

Second, research one item and sell it at the cheapest possible even if your profit is 1%. Consider that other 9% to be a marketing expense. You don't have to stick with these margins. But you get the purpose.

Third, Make sure to put a banner or a link in your listing allowing to people to add your store as a favorite.

Fourth, when you ship the item, be sure to put in the invoice your store name, and or something promoting yourself. This is key.

This is literally how sellers get attention. I still have customers from months ago messaging me to sell to them because I'm reliable although there are plenty of other sellers.

my store is already filled with over 300 products and I'm going to add some 300 more

I am selling the items for the cheapest price and everything is free shipping but business isn't booming I mean I'm selling for like 50-150$ a day on average but profit is really small and unless I get a MASSIVE amount of REAL, relevant views then it's not gonna fly

I do have a link to subscribe to my store on every listing

I'm not sure I can put an invoice in the package cause they are drop shipped

I remember the First day of my store I made 2 sales and in a week I already had over 100 watches on different items and sales were stable but that is because the first week all my listings topped search results on eBay for almost every keyword but now I'm not even on the first page, what's happened?

hmm as long as it's quality niche targeted traffic [by quality I mean real eyeballs seeing my ads, not machines] I guess it should work

What worries me is your margin is too small, it could be wiped out by so many factors. PayPal or eBay could put their fees up, a competitor could undercut you, postage could go up. 1 lost item in the post or chargeback would wipe out the profit for 10 sales. You will not make your millions with margins this slim unless you are selling hundreds a day.

Find some new products with higher margin and diversify.

my item are priced at $40-$300 and the average sale is about $80
everything is free shipping
if I add $20 to the price of every item and get a significant discount from ups/fedex then I will be profiting at least $15 / sale

There's a lot of great Fiverr gigs that will help you promote your store. You can also make youtube vids doing reviews and or product showcases. Also if your product appeals to a certain niche where a product is hard to find do some guest blogging, blog commenting, forums, etc.

ask your buyers to write reviews on web sites dedicated to buying products on eBay, so they will promote you as a seller.

I think more rated sellers will be place above you but it can be helpful if you move into a smaller niche or work consistently on your current niche. 10% of $2, 000 is not bad for a start.. You also need to compare your price with what others are offering, sometimes less is more..

The most important thing that you can do to promote an eBay store is to understand the buyer's perspective. Put yourself in the buyer's shoes and plan the promotional activities from there.
