Google and Bing Give value to the social signals , at least Twitter and facebook Ones.

I wouldn't call him a noob.. Google has been claiming to take social signals into consideration, but as much as a few months ago I was easily ranking sites in very competitive industries with ZERO social signals

If they actually have real weight now, than yes lets automate the hell out of this... it won't be that difficult, a lot of options are already available.
