I have 241 unique visitors to my site in the last 14 days. It's very low traffic but I am wondering why I am getting no sales. I was at least hoping for a single one. I have 566 visits (2.34/visitor) and about 20-25% of those visits are 15mins+. I'm just wondering why am I getting no conversions, any thoughts?

Are you targeting buyer keywords? I've seen many sites that get good traffic, but the content supplied is sufficient for research only. People visit such sites, learn and then go back to the search engine to find somewhere to buy at. Besides this, ad placement is also essential. But it is very difficult to determine what your potential problem may be without seeing the site.

Best way is to capture the emails of those visitors (aka leads) and create an email campaign with relevant information that plugs the products you are trying to sell.

What he said. You have no relationship at all with these people.

Besides, conversions are different from niche to niche. I have a $50k investment site with low conversions and a "drug" site that converts 1 in 5 almost. It depends what you're selling, to who, and how you're doing it.

PM me the site if you want and your traffic source if you want and I'll tell you how you can bump up your conversions.

This is a good point, maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. Any examples of what "buyer keywords" are?

How would I do that?

I ask myself the same question many times. Just keep on keeping on. Capturing emails is the best option. The money is in the list.

Try to monetize with Adsense instead, hopefully you can make a few bucks with that.

I'm not old enough for Adsense.

I'm just wondering as to why I can't get a single sale even with traffic.

Example of non-buyer Keyword

"free red widgets
download red widgets"

Example of generic keyword

red widgets
what are red widgets

Example of buyer keywords

buy red widgets online
red widgets online store
red widget deal
red widget discount
purchase red widgets
red widgets in new york

generally speaking, the longer your target keyword is, the more likely it will convert. Conversely, you may receive less traffic to it.

For example, if you rank #1 for a two word keyword, you will likely get 20% of the search volume to your website.
However if you are #1 for a four word keyword, that figure is approximately 35%, even higher if you use Microdata, there are few ads and you have multiple results on the first page.

Other type of keywords is to identify what the product is helping a user with if they purchase it.
Target content that have words like 'stop' 'help' 'how to' 'why can't I' that will bring other potential converts.

How is the copywriting on the site? Does it play on the psychology of the seller's mindset?

- You might be optimized great for the search engines, with a horrible unattractive design for visitors.

- You may offer just enough information that they get what they want, and don't buy.

- You may have junk traffic = no conversions

What I'm basically saying is, we won't be able to give you any "good" advice unless we see the site. That's like telling the doctor your head hurts over the phone...is it because you got shot in it? because you fell and hit it? or migraine pain?

Well, I have 2 tips for you!

- Get better as seo to increase your visitors.
- Post new contect on your site.

Ah, I see. So I am guessing I am just targeting generic keywords and I should get "buyer" keywords for my niche. I don't really know how to do this for this specific niche though.

build ur list bro...even if u did get sales....why do u only wana earn x$ amount from 1 person while that same person could earn u xxx$ in the future?:D....THE MONEY IS ALWAYS IN THE LIST

I'm kind of getting tired with everyone going "OMFG, NO LIST = NO MONEY" all over BHW and WF.

I would prefer it if there's literally any other piece of advice you can have aside from building a list.

^^ That + get a better sales copy.

I am promoting a Clickbank product, how do I get a better sales copy?

I think my site is aesthetically pleasing but I'm thinking right now it is either junk traffic or the information I have...

Outsource the sales copy.

I know a guy that can write a new sales copy for you!

When I did it, I went from 1 sale ever few days to like 3-5 sales per day!

It can be a good investment if you find the right person to do the copy.

The guy I hired charged me $99 for the copy, but I have another guy I know that is just as good that can do one for you for around half that.

Let me know if you are intr.
