xgrambot accounts being banned

There was a lot of bitching on this thread and no feedback provided to the original issue. Can we leave the bitching to the ladies and let the group know how to fix this?

My roommate during my senior year of college works at Instagram. We met up for drinks last week and they are working on cleaning house. He mentioned "the Russians" are walking down a fine line and will be dealt with soon. I wasn't able to get any real detailed info from him other than they are spending a significant amount of time on new ways to battle this stuff. Sounded like they were still at the drawing board, so there is time left.

More than likely is a proxy issue then. Shared proxies are notorious for this, especially if a bunch of people are using the same ranges. Same can happen with private proxies. Find a good source and keep it secret ;)

99% of the time it comes down to over used and abused proxy ranges. Inntact and i discussed this on Skype and did determine proxy abuse was the issue in this specific case as well.

Initial response via Skype ... these are the things to keep in check ....

Issues with profile updating can come from any one or combination of the following reasons:Account was bad from day #1 / created badly / created on bad IP's / created too quickly on same IP / IP range;
About Me section contains bad footprints;
Link being used to update with profile has footprints / links to a banned site;
IP being used with the account has been marked as spam / run too many processes too quickly.
