Hi,
I have been trying to build tier 1 links for a physical therapy/ chiropractic website (local business).
I'm trying to scrape elgg and jcow sites with "chiropractic" and "physical therapy" keywords.
But no luck! Sometimes sb only harvests for 3 seconds. I tried my 20 private proxies and 70 scraped proxies.
The few sites I did get didn't pass Ultimate demon site detector!!!
Any help is really appreciated! I have so much time invested I'm exhausted :-(

I always had trouble with finding good Elgg sites, either the sites were spammed to hell and useless or were semi crippled (no login / register page).

This was a year and a bit ago mind so I moved onto other things.

JCow, in my investigations last year were no follow and had a hard to OCR captcha so again moved away

Thanks but I know scritty scrapes a bunch of these working. I just want similar content. I heard very important for tier one links.

A site I grab some working elgg and jcows at is here. But don't you think your search terms are a bit too narrow? Try pain, health, medicine, etc. Even that might be too narrow to net any quantity of web 2.0s.

You don't need a ton of links pointing at your site. I would be hesitant of pointing elggs and jcows directly at any sites I want to keep long-term. Those are best for tier 2+ imo.

Probably would be a good idea to search Scritty's posts. He's helped many others out, and I'm sure he could help you too if you can't find your problem discussed in detail in one of his past posts. Good luck.

Great advice. I will look into some alternative tier one options if it comes to that. If anyone has other advice please keep it coming.

I forgot to ask. For a site with no backlinks. How many tier one links should I build per week? 1 every 2 days? Do I only need like 10 tier one links? Thanks again for any input!

Dude, don't waste your time trying to scrape sites specific to ANY niche, just scrape with as many keywords as you possible can - period.

2) post my article (about my niche) with links inside article

Scrape as many sites as you can period from all search engine. Don't worry about pr. Post quality articles that have been spun well and yes - include your links in them.

Then blast the shit out of those posts with whatever..

Build manual first tiers in the beginning (10) and blast those. If you "blast" your site right from the start, you had best be prepared to keep it going (referred to as link velocity).

Read my post here first. Get some high PR do follow platforms from the link building section of this forum or from the link I posted above. Spend the time to make ten good first tiers so that if a Google employee looks at it, they will see good content, a contact page, etc. Heavily interlink the pages on your first tier sites and only place one link to your money site on the entire blog/web 2.0 (not all to your homepage). Make sure the link is visible on the homepage and an in-content link. For example, on Wordpress, in say your third post put your link in the first paragraph or second and use the "more" option after that paragraph ends. Make sure to make another post or more after that so that your link is about mid-screen and surrounded by a ton of good text above and below.

If you build ten good first tiers on high PR do follow sites, they should be able to handle large volumes of links. Your ranks on your money site may dip for a day or two, but if you do it right your ranks will substantially improve once they quickly bounce back.

You don't need a lot of links to your site to rank well. You just need to show an algorithm you are an authority, which is why reading my other post should help put you on the right track. Linking your tiers to mostly your money site's inner pages is a clear sign that your site has substance.

You're trying to dig from a very small pool here. Use the most general keywords you can find, scrape, and post to any site regardless of niche. Then create niche related backlinks by hand no matter what the platform is.

As I'm Reading up more I would still like to know if anyone has preferences for high PR do follow platforms for tier one.
I would really like to be able to use UD but if it's manual tier one so be it... Any tips are really appreciated!

You'd be better of spending a day building a Private Blog network on WordPress around your keyword, posting scraped/spun content with AutoBlogger and then building links to your site from these blogs. I know it would be a little work but at least you wouldn't have to worry about losing the links and would still deliver you quality one way links.
