The scraper does not work.. If by chance, it scrape articles for a general keyword, it is so very few to even use it for BUILDING ARTICLEs.. Can you try to fix it asap. Thanks! BTW, I am using private proxies with scraping.

Yeah iam adding more sites and a google parser so you will get much more articles with less proxies. Although i doubt if you get more than 1200-1300 but still iam making it dual mode. More on that in 2.6 - which is all about the scraper and some other fixes.

Thanks - your account was emailed. Let me know if you receive it. I don't think a shortcut is added via installer. You can look for it in c:\program files\wicked article creator if you went with default path or maybe use the search to find it?

Got it. I just scraped some articles and now I'm trying to do an auto build for the article and the program froze up and is not responding.

Edit: Never mind. I closed the program and tried again and it worked this time.

Edit 2: Now it froze up on me when I clicked the GSA-SER button.

This bug is because of some HTML crap being downloaded with normal article. Do one thing - open settings from wac-xtra and put this in "what you don't want" under relevancy :

And make sure of these things

1) your variations when multiplied should be lower than lines downloaded
2) All min paras and lines should bess than max paras and lines.

Man, I have to admit that after playing with WAC all morning I'm really confused. In the tab WAC-Main I pick a keyword "bust belly fat" and click Download. I get content back related to my keyword, but there is also a poem in there and lines that contain references to Minecraft and the iPhone. After some digging I figure out I have to go into WAC-Xtra/Settings and add unwanted keywords into the Relevancy tab, then go back to WAC-Main and click the Unwanted button. Then I discover this is case sensitive so I go back and add in cases. Seems like a big time sink. Also, I got the Article Scraper to work once on the keyword "photography" per the example, but when I tried scraping for articles that contain the term "grow taller" (which there should be some, right?) it returns nothing, or even worse, just spins with no way of knowing what is happening. I've got my private proxies in. Am I doing something wrong?

First sorry that you are having problems. The videos are outdated i know but iam focusing on 2.6 right now which should be the last update in core methods.

1) Yup more sites means more of these things. I will explain something to you. I usually search a directory for some keyword. It will show me main search results with another group (like a sidebar) which has same HTML but are related to the keyword. Hence these are also downloaded. Now there is no way to get rid of them but you have relevancy feature which can be used. I will fix the case-sensitive thing.

2) It returns nothing because or banned ips. There is some bug with proxies not being randomly picked (although i have it in code but still).

Let me in your pc once through teamviewer and i will help you out with all the components and what exactly is happening with content scraper. It's only a week more for 2.6 and you will have better use of proxies and whole different search methods - search engines and directories themselves.

Thanks for the reply! I'm a patient guy and can wait until the next version, because it sounds like it could be the ticket. Honestly what I want is something that works like this (and I'm not sure WAC is it, although I hope upon hope it is): locate multiple articles based on my keyword, spin 4 or 5 paragraphs from those articles to make a new article, then lightly word spin the results of that article to make it even more unique but still readable, then export to either GSA, Article Marketing Robot, or SENuke. And do this fast and easy. I'd rather input a keyword, press 1 or 2 buttons, look at the results of the spin quickly and decide if I like it or if I should dump it.

yup 2.6 is an amazing adventure so far. I mean 26 article directories as compared to 7 in 2.5 Also SE parser which gives over 12000+ lines for a keyword and normal one which is like one in 2.5 with more articles too. Tomm it will be ready and then off to content scraper fixes - more sites and faster parsing and then you will have these updates.

But remember more variations - more lines will make it little slower to build articles (by 8-10 seconds but still).
