Link / virus going around that's attacking your Skype account.

Those are a few of the links that where sent to me from people that have been affected by it, as well as a few friends of mine.
There's a few different ones. Do not click on them. There is no Drive-By-Download on there ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drive-by_download ). What their doing is (I believe) just removing friends / contacts from your Skype account. I can't see anything else going on. It's probably just using the Skype API to do so. But it doesn't hurt to do a virus scan and change your password(s) just to be safe.

Any recommendations apart from changing the password and doing a virus scan?

No, I don't burn bridges in this industry. They added me, I accepted, simple as that. Their simply contacts on my account. I know whats going around about them. I don't deal with their network what-so-ever.

@Leith, check your processes(if on windows) by hitting control alt delete to open task manager, or start > run "taskmgr", or windows key + r (to open the "run" dialog) and put in "taskmgr" without the quotes of course. Then see if there is anything out of the ordinary, if so, end the process. But at that, do not end any process that you're not 100% sure of.

Thank you for the kind words about my network. Oh I know how that network is. I stay on-top of the "drama" in the industry, just to know what's going on with it all.

If you're on a Mac I don't know if you have anything to be worried about. But better to be safe than sorry.
