OK, i am not to sure if it is actually fox who contacted me but i went ahead to register myspace.com/sarahconnorchronicles Before they were able to. Does anyone think i could turn this into a money making mspace somehow?

Here is the message i got.

Hi, I work with FOX Network and we were planning on using this URL for the OFFICIAL Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles site. It would be great if you could somehow transfer sites and let us have this one.

Thanks, John

YES. Sell it to them for at least $5,000, they will buy it, if it is legit...

take them for all you can get. if they will pay $10k, hell take it!:)
start high and be a brat about it. start doing something with it. but stay under the radar during negotiations. based on myspace's tos, they can kick you off if they get wind of it.

i do not think it is fox. Perhaps another marketer trying to steal it from you.

Yeah I'm with Nick I bet it's bogus. But they don't know who they're dealing with either, so play dumb at first and keep control.

1 - If it's really from Fox they will simply take it
2 - I don't think it's from Fox
3 - You just gave me an idea

you don't have a last name, so i doubt it is from fox.

Ask him for his name and phone number at fox.

Tell him you are doing a press release on the transfer and the newspaper want his name.

Yeah,I came to realise it is bogus,I contacted fox about it and they said they won't be using it :) So i could use it to sell Terminator products or something Build the friends list up and Sell shit on it. But there had to be a reason for the Bogus marketer who wanted it. I wonder why that is.

is it possible to sell it to someone Random instead of making it available to Fox?

Thanks everyone!

lochero,Whats the idea?

Don't sell it...license its use. Paid yearly....with restrictions kept in place that if they cross they line..you can take it back. Just an idea

How would I License its use?

The domain name is taken....

If they want it, they will take it away from you.

Exactly. A friend of mine used to try to do that with movie sequels, having a team of lawyers on retainer means never having to say you're sorry.

Check the Terms of Use...

but try it...they may go for it.
