One thing which I came to know after this EMD update that.
Google did not de ranked sites which were ranking on first position. In google algo they are marked as brand names, other sites which were ranking on 2-10 positions with EMD have been vanished. Take a deep analysis and prove me wrong.

You maybe right. One spam EMD in my niche was ranking #1 before the update and after as well. I don't have data in other niches. Maybe others can confirm?

I just had 1 of my EMDs in position 1. It's still there. So maybe.

Yes, I can confirm it now. One of my ordinary quality (low quality as per Google) is still ranking #1; high quality EMD which was ranking #3 got buried

I have an EMD site that was #3 move to #2. But it's a real EMD, it doesn't have any extra words in addition to the keywords in the domain name. It's a fairly thin site - about 5 pages.

thats strange why low quality is there and high quality dropped have you used any spam link building techniques?

My emd was #3, after emd update Nowhere, now after 10 days i am at #8, i did nothing just wait, but i am ranking only for my main keyword every other keyword or page are not in the top100

Maybe yes, built some low quality links to dilute high quality links from my own private network; probably that's what hurt me
