I dont receive notifications when someone submits a post afer my post in a thread

Hello, I dunno who I should I ask, whenever I post a reply in any thread, I do not receive any notification when someone else later on posts on the same thread. Is there any particular setting for that?

Yeah so? Here I can see the list of threads that I am subscribed to. I know that list, and I can see the list of threads I have subscribed to when I click on Settings. But the point is, I do not get any notification when someone posts a reply after my post on a thread. For example, when private parts posted on this thread above, I did not know it. I manually checked the list of my subscribed threads and there I saw that private parts has commented on this thread. Does this happen with everybody? Now I am commenting on this thread, Private Parts and Alternatesword, how do you know that I have commened here, do you have to check manually each and every thread?

what i do is i check the subscribtions every now and then and see if someone has replied to a thread i subscribed to

Oh okay, so you mean that is how it works over here? coz I have to do the same...And another thing, I found this in Settings>General Settings .. Can you tell me what have you entered here?

Default Thread Subscription Mode: When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

it's not disabled, it's just not the default

to OP: at the top of every thread you can click on Thread Tools/Subscribe to this Thread, there are 4 options to choose from, you may have chosen the weekly email by mistake or the control panel notifications, when you don't get any emails

I have tried daily emails and instant emails, but the result is the same. I have not selected control panel or weekly email. I have to manually check every thread that I subscribe.

uff... you should contact to moderator. Because i get instant email if anyone reply on my thread. Did you change email id ever? If yes, check if it is right or miss spelled. Thank you.

No, I did not change the email id. But I have never received any email from BHW.

Hey, you have to change the default thread subscription mode to "Instantly, using email" . You can find that on here

I have done that too, but I only receive an email when someone sends me a private message, but not when someone replies on a thread where I have commented...
