Anyone Else Disappointed With AMR 2.0?

Does he live in the United States? Take the MFer to Judge Judy. I purchased the software a very long time ago and stopped using it because it was junk. It never helped rank any of my sites and it always had posting issues. At that time i voiced my opinion about his lousy software on his forum then i stopped using it. It was a waste of money and i paid somewhere around $89 at the time so im a long time customer. If i was to start using it again (unlikely) i would be very upset about his breach of lifetime updates. Does anyone have a copy of his TOS or his sales page stating this? If so, you can take him to court.

This is so terrible. I had no idea it would turn out this way. This is not what I planned. I am speechless. I'll try and figure something out.

lol its like a AMR trash Thread look i am not so happy about new update addon on Paid also but whose who are complaining about the performance about AMR they are wrong this is one of the best Software for Article Submission their is Not Senuke or BMD dont Support That many Articles Directories that AMR support when its out first time and alot of People make Huge Profit from it and still doing it . You cant Blame your Unsuccessful Results on the Software . When u leech Directories sites from forums and add to directories ofc its wont work its like dead directories . here a tip for those who said that AMR doesn't work good any More.
HREFER+Good footprints+Your Private List then see the power of AMR and Results.....

LoL, apparently you never bought AMR or own a AMR license at all.

And your last statement is flawed.
The features or paid update is INTEGRATED in AMR. It is NOT a separated software.
Ultimate Demon is another software that has Article, Bookmarking, Wiki, and other modules INTEGRATED.
For other words, Ultimate demon is like a human body and BMD is just one arm of the body.

And no, it isn't about charging add-ons. The thing is the developer promised "lifetime updates" when you purchase his software.
And we definitely won't sue them as this is just time consuming and for just $67, its' totally not worth it as everyone of us can earn that easily. But what matters here is he broke his promise.

Also, if Sniper really needs money that bad... he could at least sell the update at a low price for his existing customers.

But don't get me wrong... from the developer's perspective, perhaps he just wants to earn from his hardwork.
If he really does, he should just make it as a software than to integrate it into AMR. This just confuses a lot of us because of your initial "free lifetime updates".
Or at least, like I've said above, sell it at a lower price than telling existing customers to pay the difference.

No, I'm not making Sniper the bad guy or blasting his software. It is the best article blasting software out there, yes.

P.S: Your first statement is totally uncalled for. Watch your ego, buddy :(. I don't know if you just had a bad day or something that made you post that... but it's seriously uncalled for.

I have paid for three licenses, but that's not the point - now I use AMR probably twice per month, long gone are the days when a single blast could send you to page 1 on Google. With that said, I still believe that he (or any developer for that matter) could charge for add-ons whatever they want - if Sweetfunny releases a paid add-on for Scrapebox, would you starting a bashing thread as well? Anyway, the last thing I would want is to get into a forum fight with anyone ;)

AMR is not a p.o.s, and has helped me rank many sites in the past, but this paid upgrade definitely pissed me off to be honest.

I get almost daily updates for GSA from Sven, with new platforms and great new features every time. That's what I understand as lifetime updates.

I've read somewhere that Vince was ready to launch a bookmarking tool and I was planning to buy it if was a one-time fee price. But after this move I'm very reluctant now.

amr was great when it lasted, but there's no reason to own it anymore. support on the forum sucked, updating was also a pain in the ass. u.d. is just too cheap and good to mess with amr anymore.

AMR has not asked for money from their users in a long time. Adding new platforms outside of article directories is a new feature and justifies the expense. I know it sucks pulling money out of the wallet, but developers need to earn some money too so they are motivated to improve the software.

They also havent updated in a long time (all the while saying the update is around the corner and dicking users around) and when they DO have a decent update, they want to charge the users. If he didn't want this backlash he shouldve just sold it as a standalone app instead of lumping it in with software that was promised free updates for life.

To be honest with all the software that is available I feel the upgrades should be provided at no cost.

"Free updates for life" is not real hard to understand. Neither is "Pay $67 for this update".

I do not see how you could possibly lose that lawsuit, assuming you are still alive.

I do not use AMR, though I bought it, because it seems pointless.

  • Only a few links will actually benefit you from any particular website, the rest are discounted or ignored.
  • Article Directories are for the most part junk links. It will be very easy for Google to devalue these links because of quality issues.
  • It will not be very easy to disavow a link in a resource box on a piece of spun crap article when they do.
  • The more links you build, the more of these un-disavowable crappy links that point at you.
  • In the time it takes to create and execute an AMR blast you can manually go find a PR3 or higher related link that is worth far more than the whole blast anyway.
Following general accepted standards, a PR 1 link has 10 times the "juice" as a PR0. A PR2 has 10 times the juice that a PR1 has, and 100 times the juice of a PR0, and so on.

This means that 1 PR3 link is as valuable as 1000 PR1 links (or the first three from that domain are), a PR 4 is worth 10,000, and a PR5 is worth 100,000 PR1 backlinks.

It is not natural for a normal site to have thousands of PR1 and PR0 links pointing at them, unless they have been online a long time. It is absolutely normal for Internet Marketer's sites to have them though.

Links pass link juice as well as authority, Article directories have very little authority for the most part anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I do article marketing but I do manual submissions of quality articles to better directories. I do it for the syndication and traffic instead of backlinks though.

I already know what's coming next: "You are wrong because article marketing works"

To which I reply "Now. So did keyword stuffing, once"

AMR's developer's mistake was he didn't made a different software/different name. Obviously he wanted to capitalize on the AMR name which is big.

What dissapoints me though is people who expect stuff and don't understand the amount of work needed to maintain a commercial software or build new features and maintain those too.

You find it useful? You will buy it because the price won't matter. You have no use for it, then dont buy it. Its as easy as that.

You raise some valid points that I agree with. Hopefully sniper can make it good and somehow consider the inconveniences many faced with software that was not updated nearly enough to be functional for many (including me).

I think most people didn't bother to complain because we only paid $89 and when it stopped working we just moved on rather than mess with it waiting for his "updates" that he kept promising .... if we had paid $299 or more then he would have seen alot more immediate backlash.

Anyway I stand by my opinions stated on this software - and to come back now asking for more money - it really isn't right.

GSA - updated like crazy // UD - updated frequently // SB - updated frequently // Captcha Sniper - Updated pretty frequently

Good software and good support sell themselves - but this bait and switch type stuff turns us off.

I was able to update my AMR to 2.0 for free but I did not get nor buy the addons. I already have software that will post to wikis and web 2.0 sites. I really liked AMR at one time but rarely use it now, only using it for tier 2 & 3 blasts, not to my money site. The software is very klunky when compared to other options available now and it is difficult to get it to post to more than a handful of article directories.

It is useful for posting to your own self-hosted blogs if you do not have something else. It's a shame that sniper did not keep up with the changing landscape and is trying to play catch-up now. Maybe he shpuld offer exisiting users of AMR a chance to get the Addons at a reduced rate, get some good feedback that can be used to attract new buyers of the base AMR + addons software.

i could update for free both licences.... how is it that you are asked for more money, please explain. Has the update become free now are is Vince going to try bill me later??? it confused here...

surely you realise a license for life is like an unlimited server package, bullshit, just a marketing lie.

If you believe a life term license means free updates for your life, I have some herbal penis enlargement pills you may be interested in.......

This was a gift from above, i was about the shell out money for the upgrade, but then i took a look at GSA (didnt even knew it existed), so for a wee bit more i'll just go for that.

Once after 5-10 days the success rate of AMR is going down. I got more 404 and unknown error each time. One time, I wasted a whole day to check the over all capability of AMR. I scraped 20k article directories via all google search engines and when i create account i just got only 400 sites ok (Tried 4 times). In that 400 sites i only got 135 successful submission. After 3 days when i check for live links got only 43 approved. After a week i again submit a new article to that 400 sites, what the hell! i just got only 63 submission. So, i wish to get the upgrade for free to compensate these things.

Any how, if any one have good AMR list please share.

AMR changed the game for a lot of you. I find it amusing that you guys want a guy to work for free overhauling software while you do nothing. To be dissapointed in that is a little entitled if you ask me.

No it's not. This is not about an emotional relationship with the developer or the tool.

If you buy a software with a specific license that grants lifetime updates, you should get them. Period.

Just because the software performed well in the past it does not mean we have to ignore poor performance and bypasses on license agreements and updates.
