Well, it's always advisable to use more unique content, especially when you are pointing the the Web 2.0 Links at your site(s) directly, but also when using these links to power up your first link layer. We post to 12+ different platforms and elgg/jcow are just 2 of them and make about 20-25% of the links.

We were giving out free copies of the service when launching the thread in exchange for reviews. All the review copies have long since been claimed though.
