Who else uses SEO Cloaker..

If you didnt get it working then you just didnt do your homework. It is a great script if use all the functions (requires some work). If you are looking for a script that does all the work for you I hate to tell you but such a thing does not exist

Ive been using SEC for about a month. This amount of time is too short for real results but for a month Im getting about a hundred targeted visits a day (include the week to get initially spidered).

I researched a lot before buying and knew I needed to devote my time to tweaking it so the unique factor is high and the content is good and plentiful.

Smart thinking w/ the templates addon and using custom templates is key. Yes, I had to buy several addons. IMO, it should be sold as a package but whatever.

I have NO vested interest in the product.

Im currently setup on 6 domains - all very different subjects/businesses. The first one I did is the one that is up to about 100 a day, the rest are following the same pattern given their later launch date.

Its not a silver bullet, but put in the time and the "thoughts", and Im comfortable saying it will work for anyone in mid-competitive keys - only because I only deal with mid-competitive niches.

you can find a FREE versions everywhere, then why pay ? there is a good cloacker called phanton cloaker, I have heard, its great..

SEC runs on a server and the updates are critical - not to mention the cloaker live integration....both of which would not work with a pirate copy.

I think Maxell is referring to the free demo version of Phantom Cloaker. There's no pirate copy of SEC anywhere, to my knowledge. As far as Phantom Cloaker goes, I don't think it's out in rotation anymore. I tried to purchase it 2 months ago at the main website, and was never taken to the download page. I sent many emails to the folks at Phantom Cloaker and nobody ever responded to me. The powers that be at Clickbank refunded my money but I was highly disappointed in the makers of the product. SEC stays up to date on a lot of things and although I haven't mastered many of it's features, I feel safer trying to use it than using a cloaker that's old and outdated. Then again....maybe Maxell knows something we don't.....

before buying SEC i exchanged a bunch of messages with Ralph from phantom. He was very helpful, but it came down to trying to justify the price. Peter at SEC is by no mean "on top" of things all the time, but he checks in no and again. I feel bad for the non-tech noobs that try to jump in.

if you use the htaccess rewrites and hide the data feature they now have less chance of getting zapped. Get the cloaker account and use Markov engine generated pages and is even better.

i am setup w/ .htaccess rewrite and morkov. I created a dozen paragraphs (different html bodys), with billions of variations of text, links, lists, images on each. rockin' and rollin'

I think it's fairly easy also. You can do some white hat stuff and get listed in a short amount of time.

Hey Michel - thanks for the info. I'm new to black hat. Was looking at buying SEC. All around pretty lost with all of this info. So many different tools and what not I go to look at one and get sidetracked with another. Any recommendations on maybe the top 2 or 3 things to use to get up, running, and bringing even a little cash a day in? Thanks Michel. Tom

Hi Tom,

if you are going to start with SEC buy also the Template and the Static addon.

Once you have those you can get started. When you can make your own template, do it. Otherwise buy one from one of the people on the SEC forum.

If you have more than one installation I would go with cloakerlive. You can manage everything from one interface, and the template add-on is included when you join cloakerlive..... they also have an organic feature which can add based on your settings of course several new urls to your site every few days or so. That way search engines don't suddenly see 1000's of pages.

I would say it's almost fair to say that the template addon is mandatory - imo it should just be included, static also, but oh well.

I bought SEC back in 2005 when it was 97 bucks or something like that. I didn't think it was very good at all. In fact, it was because of SEC that I've never bothered with a cloaker since.
