I am currently ranked on the first page for several search queries about a ClickBank product: "[product name] review", "[product name]" and "[product name] scam".

Although the Google AdWords Keyword Tool stated that tens of thousands of people are searching for this product by name, when I went on Google Webmasters, it stated that I had slightly over 1000 impressions and less than 100 clicks. My CTR is under 5% and I have only had a few genuine visits to my affiliate page.

I think that this is the case because my website is only ranked around #15 in Google, but when I search for the product name on my computer, the website appears on first page.

I am rather concerned about the viability of my website. I do not know whether I am not receiving traffic due to my rank or because of the lack of popularity of the niche. Any explanations regarding this situation would be welcome.

Log out from Gmail and then search the keywords and see where you rank...

I searched for the keywords when I logged out of Gmail. The rank was the same. I even searched for the term on different computers; the same result appeared.

Ok Here is one solution to check whether you are actually ranked number 1.
Go to a proxy website like
ctunnel [dot] com or hidemyass [dot] com

Enter Google.com in the text field and click start browsing. Now enter your search term/keyword and see your rank.

1 - Google keyword tool does not give you the accurate number of searches per month.
2 - To check the rank of your website visit the following url

Code:
http://google.com/ncr

You said in one post that you are ranked 15th for the keywords, and #1 for the product name. Do that many people rank for the product name? Maybe you will need some other ways of getting traffic besides Google.

Google Webmaster states that I am ranked #15 for the keywords, yet when I search on a web browser, the ranking is #1. I apologise for not being clear.

I used proxies to check my ranking. They seem to be #8 or #9.

Try to search from another computer. Google has personalized you.

Don't listen to all these people making it way harder than it has to be to check a ranking. You don't need proxies or any complicated rubbish like that.

Use http://www.seoserp.com/web_tools/google_top_1000_serps_checker.asp to check your ranking for any keyword in the top 1000 SERPs in any given country. It's takes all of 5 seconds.
