Hey guys,

I've completed developing a software related to YT. Now I wanna sell it in Clickbank, but I'd like to know how do I sell a software which requires activation or license key. Anyone have experience with it? Are there any special handling required to send the activation/license key upon receipt of the order? Really appreciate any help regarding this.

you developed the program, you need to develop your own licensing system. Unless theres a program that deals with licensed and locking .exe's I would also be very interested in such a thing!

I know for ubot theres a program someone made called protectgold, and it handles pretty much everything. you can create trials, licenses, people register their program by typing in their paypal transaction etc.. I think it only works with ubot, but you can look it up.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it'll be an downloadable exe file and it's not a problem for me to handle the licensing mechanism by myself if it's sold directly from my site. But I am not sure how do I integrate such a thing with Clickbank (if any). Also I read about plimus that they provide a licensing & protection mechanism for the software, I am yet to look into it fully.

It'd be great if you or anyone can give me some inputs of plimus and regnow. I get information from google, but I prefer inputs from someone experienced who has experience doing it. I am sure BHW has lot of developers who sell their product. It seems more difficult for me to find these things than coding :-)... It'd be great if I get some insight on regnow, plimus and other mediums.
