How to create your own Social Exchange site

I have found a ton of Social Exchange sites that look exactly like eachother.

Is there some template for this so that I don't have to write it from scratch? Would be amazing if the like/follow/view actions ran through some type of proxy as well.


Anyone know of any resources for this? I'm doing it locally for Portland. If you don't want to spill the beans via post, hit me up in a PM; I'll appreciate it.

there is one. forgot its name but it is on on themeforest or some site like that.

I tried it out once as I used to own a site for exchange but it was extremely sluggish and ate up hosting like crazy.
