How long before you see SEO results?

I'm in trial in error mode. I've applied some of the well detailed methods from different bhw members and am wondering what can be the timeline to actually see a difference in SEO position and traffic, 1 month, 2, 3? I know there is a wide range of variables but in general, for a noob like me who doesn't always follow details to the letter..lol

To notice some minor changes, you will need at least 2 weeks I think. To get ranked site for certain keyword you will need at least 1-2 months. However if you have like a lot of content you will get some traffic straightaway but building traffic and positions on google takes months..

This. Too many people think you can rank in 2-3 days, when in reality, if you're ranking for the long-term, it'll take at least 2-3 months!

Depends on the keyword tbh. I've seen 1 week and I've seen months. But generally, it's a couple months.

Minimum two weeks to see what, if anything is happening. Don't make 50 changes all at once either, one change at a time, wait a week or two, rinse, repeat, otherwise you won't know what change did what.

I can tank a site in like 3 days...LOL.. Hey you said results, not good results.

To rank a couple of months...the fastest I got to page 1 was around 40 days for a low volume kw (1500 exact searches, local) the rest take a few months

This greatly varies on your back link strategy and competition.

If you build links and run it through indexing software, you are going to notice the result sooner if it's effective.
