There seems to be problems with the import of keywords with German umlauts. When I import keywords from a keyword tool, then special characters are replaced with strange characters.
Am I doing something wrong?

When will GSA ever fix the threading issues....?
Everybody who uses his own lists to "blast" knows that GSA is very fast in the first 1 - 5 mins, and slows down to a damn crawl (useless speeds really) soon after, this problem has existed since day 1.

99% of the time GSA is just sitting there with 0 - 1% cpu usage, no connections open, doing NOTHING, there is zero activity anywhere, this is not isolated to my system(s) either, everybody who is trying the same thing experiences the EXACT same issue.

A very serious bug that makes it 1% as effective as it could be if working as intended.

Seems old threads are not ending properly and it's actually only spawning a handfull of fresh threads for new operations, or whatever it is, there is a MAJOR issue with threading.

How many projects are 'active' for you at once? I've found that the fewer projects you have running at once, the worse this issue is. As an example, I have my VPS set to 300 threads, working with 10 projects, and while it may slip down to a handful of threads when verifying, this is for a very short amount of time, and then picks up again. I can leave my VPS running untouched, and it'll easily submit 100,000+ backlinks in a 24 hour period, and that's with CS set as my first captcha choice, and shanibpo as my second, and making use of my own list.

1 project is indeed even worse, but even with 5 or 10 it wont make much of a difference, dedicated machine, as a comparison, xrumer runs 2500-3000 links per minute on that system..

I moved my my threads from 100 to 200 and the software runs fast again. I mean it doesn't look like it has some problems. Maybe the longer you run it, more connections get frozen or suspended or some shit.

That's what needed (and more) to rank the most competative kws out there...and i don't mean "dog training" or any crap like that, but $(x)x.xxx / day terms are all done by beautifull spam my friend..

Are you sure you are actually using GSA...?

If you can not identify this bug then you are truely not paying attention, no offense, as a spokesperson it's kinda "meh" to tell this guy "it's running fine on my end" when what he describes is something that's happening to me plus everybody in my friendsgroup who uses GSA as well.

And you are running at 50 threads...? How about you run it at 100 - 500 threads and see how well it copes.......not to well (understatement of the year), that i can assure you.

Have you posted this in the GSA forum? Everyone in your friendsgroup isn't here posting about this so how would I know if they're having any issues. The best way to get an issue/bug solved is to post it on the GSA forum because Sven is pretty active there daily. It's a lot better then me trying to relay your issue back and forth. Sven will even do a TV session with you if needed so he can see what's going on.

I'm not trying to make you waste time by signing up and posting on another forum, but it really is the best way to get stuff like this handled.

You can access the forum by going to the help menu in the software.

I agree i see the same thing on my dedicated machine !!!

One more question:

When i close GSA and open in again, does scraper start scraping from the begining of keywords list or it remembers last position (before the software was closed) ?

- URLs from the imported file are always proceed in sequence.
- URLs from search engine are saved as well but the next time you start the software it will choose a random combination to start with the search engines (footprint, keyword, engine) is will be chosen.

That's odd. GSA is a German company so you'd figure that anything German would be covered. I'll ask about it and see what's going on.

Sven said German Umlauts are imported fine as long as you import UTF-8 encoded files

Updated GSA today & now its not verifying or posting links...essentially not working...anyone else having same issues?

It's the same for me, it looks like last version killed it.

After I start GSA it works good for 3-5 minutes, after that it starts to slow down more and more, until it totally stops posting or verifying.
It looks like GSA isn't finding free threads or something similar.

It was working well until I updated from 4.33 to 4.34 (I didn't change anything in my projects, so I don't think the problem is at my end, I had it running for a few weeks at 500-700 threads).

It would be great if Sven could look into what was changed in the last version.

Tried three different versions today and all are suffering.
4.28 which was my safe back

4.34 and 4.33

All versions seem to be bottle necking
Over 9hrs spent trying to get some zing into gsa

You can up the threads being used and no difference is made. It just seems to be throttled all the time

Part of it looks like the email verification is at fault. I set all mine to 15 minutes between checks which gives it spurts of speed
No rise in cpu, no rise in memory, just the network connection gets slower and slower

I'll let Sven know that some people are having issues, but like I said before, posting on the forum is going to be the best way. Sven doesn't monitor this thread. Posting on the other forum allows him to see logs and other things + team viewer if necessary.

We'll see what kind of updates he comes up with this week.

Another issue which happens is when i click on STOP button the speed of verifying is GREAT of which I dream for. Its like something is blocking GSA from moving faster while its in RUN mode. I am running GSA at 200 threads on my VPS and I the speed is very slow for verifying atleast which shudnt be and the threads vary insanely from 200 to 10 to 50 etc

Please fix the thread issue and also check out the problem when the stop button is pressed the software works great unlike in run mode

That's what I thought. After importing the keywords looking ugly, but on the result page, everything is ok!

I see the exact same thing. After last update GSA is amlost not verifying any new links. It used to be a fuckin monster on my dedicated server.

Please get he developers to see this topic and make some fix.

Hey there. I bought VPS to put my GSA on, because I had problems with my dedicated server for spam complains. Is there a way to transfer all my campaigns to my new installation easily?

This last updated just now, still did not fix the issue, GSA is still very often just sitting there at 0 - 1% cpu usage, no open connections, and simply being idle.
