I'm about to pull the trigger on a review copy, but i'm really confused about this product versus "backlink boss". Are you guys the same team, or what? If we get inspyder's tool, are essentially getting the same exact code as backlink boss? Is inspyder's tool still being developed? Just curious if buying one means you lose out on the other.

They are the same product just re-branded so are like for like. Backlink boss is no longer promoted. Our software is always developed and take suggestions on customers feedback

From the looks of it, the dashed symbol only shows up on those links with the status of "No Backlink" or "Broken Tier/Not Shortest Path". This probably indicates they haven't been checked and won't be checked. This would actually be the behavior I expect, because I don't want it querying Google if it doesn't need to.

Yes that mean it has not been checked. It will only check links that have the OK status to save you querying Google too many times.

Exactly, there is no point in checking if links are indexed if the backlinks does not even exist

Ok, so my review so far as promised by my purchase. It's pretty straightforward as a tool. It does what it says on the tin, which is great. What would be even BETTER is if there was some graphical tree structure of what the overall link structure looks like from an overview perspective. That would take some time for them to code different platform footprints and identifying what kind of links exist in the user profile for a site within the database, but i think it could be done from a coding perspective. THAT would be the killer feature because then I could have an overall top down look at how my backlinkn profile structures look as I'm dumping links in that are being built on a daily/weekly basis. The tool is good now for the overall metrics (do the backlinks exist, pr, title link, etc). I just think it can be better

First off I want to say I think this tool would be essential for most people who are taking IM seriously and want to keep a firm eye on their backlink profile and keep up to date with what links are being indexed and what aren't.

However I do believe there is still work to be done to get this tool where it has the potential to be.

First to make it work you need proxies and an indexing account (linklicious/lindexed etc - which you hook up via API)

I would like to see better control over links entered into the system - for example I entered 1022 links 879 found the others not - but when I went to delete the dead links it deleted everything -- should just delete sites where the link is dead - not that it doesn't charaterize them properly because when you go to it - the link exists.

Also in selecting things it needs a check all / check indexed - some way to manage the links better - because right now you have to do it the slow way - selecting them one by one or using the control key ... also it needs more automatic actions - like if a link is not indexed it should send it to an indexing system automatically.

there is so much potential with this software it will be a must have - I just hope the OP can clean it up - and make it more efficient to use.

its a 7/10 now and I see it as an 11/10 should alot of the little things be addressed..... all the best.

Thanks for the review. Regarding the graphical tree structure BLM provides the hierarchy view which is where everyone should be doing most of their work. This "tree" shown in the hiearchy is the graphical view of your link hierarchy, and it allows you to work with it practically. We have users with over 100K backlinks in their projects...a chart or picture of that many backlinks would not be useful. The hierarchy is the way to go. The Selection Tool is a killer feature in this application. The selection tool and the backlink hiearchy together make it fast and easy to lazer focus what backlinks you're looking at.

Thanks for the review. The "Delete Dead Backlinks" button does only remove dead backlinks. I am not sure what you did wrong? Did you have them all selected? Anyone who is building multiple tiers needs this software to track their dead tiers. If you're building links to broken tiers, you're wasting time and money. It doesn't matter if you use an indexing service or not. Proxies are only used when hammering Google to check if the pages are indexed. That's not really a limitation of BLM, but a reality of querying Google over and over...that's BH SEO. You can use BLM without proxies to check your backlinks and fetch PR, you really only need proxies for the index check after so many queries.

Yes you just add them to the bottom of the URL list
