Hey!

I have made some good bucks lately, and i keep making it. I want to go travelling in summer 2013. Alone to go find myself, what i really want from life. If you were 17 years old me, where would you go? Money is not a problem. My friends dont got the money and i dont have girlfriend at the moment, so i would go alone.

Any of the well trodden backpacker trails will give you a incredible time at that age. If you're 17 take into consideration where you can go out and drink and party.
In Australia you wouldn't be allowed into bars and nightclubs - and thats where all the drunken english girls are. All you need to do is tap them on the head for their panties to fall off.
Although I do hear that they make some pretty good fake ID's in thailland.

I started with Nepal, never regretted it. Its a small country with a LOT of attractions, and its cheap.

this was not meant to offend anyone other than my wife who was standing behind me at the time - who was an english backpacker when I met her

I've visited Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. It was the best holiday for me..
Check out :
Thailand : Pattaya, Phuket
Malaysia : Langkawi, Pulau Redang, Kuala Lumpur(Capital city)
Singapore : Singapore Safari, Sentosa
Indonesia : Very well known island " BALI " ;)

I don't understand people who say money isn't a problem but they don't know where to go? If money wasn't a problem I would be traveling all over the place...

Go to places where you can be physically and mentally challenged, you'll find yourself there.

looking forward to the summer, getting my abs ready for the BITCHES!

Maybe their private pilot gave them a list of readily available airports, and the list was so long that they just can't decide where to start from?

Personally I wouldn't bother travelling that much underaged, too much hassle with everything. Wait a year or two and then all's much easier.

My friend went on a trip to America last year for 6 months and visited 22 states. The only thing she said that held her back was that she was 20 and missed out on so much of the night life which is the reason she wanted to go!

I agree with other posters, give it another year. Summer 2014 will be just as epic! :-)

Go to Monaco and play some poker at the Casino ;D
