Trying to get this installed and am having some issues. Im using justhost and just upploaded the zipped files to my server. I went and installed Ioncube and PHP 5.3 (single php.ini) and am now getting this error when I go to the install
directory:


CException

CAssetManager.basePath "/xxx/xxx/public_html/xxx/clp/install/assets" is invalid. Please make sure the directory exists and is writable by the Web server process.



Any1 know whats wrong? I've emailed support and am waiting on a response...

I have read a lot of good reviews about this product. I cannot wait to get mine.


But... I have some questions.


If for example I have a movie site and want to use CLP on some premium movies.


How do I set it up so I get paid each time the user clicks to watch a premuim movie?


If a user completes a CPA offer to unlock one premuinm movie how will he be able to unlock the other movies if one is promoting only one offer.


If you have thousands of movies on your site, are you going to sign up to thousands of offers so as to give the viewers new offers that will allow them unlock the content?


I know this might sound like a newbie question but... what can I say?

Sorry for the delayed response, our support team are based in Europe and don't work on weekends so sometimes there might be a wait of a few days if you submit a ticket on a Friday.

Regarding the FAQ, every host is different - we have a video for Hostgator users, but other hosts can be slightly different so it's not always possible to include them in the FAQ. That said, we will consider including it in the FAQ once your issue is sorted.

1) You would need to sign up to a few CPA networks who have incentive friendly offers (to be safe).

2) Most people choose to unlock the whole site when someone completes an offer. If you want to lock individual movies, you would need more than one offer.

3) You could do this - yes. It's quite easy to add more than one offer so this isn't too hard.

I tried to content lock youtube video, but problem is that the embeded youtube video is either showing in front of content locker (so content locker is useless (in IE) or in firefox the content locker is in front of video as it should be, but problem is that the video still can be played. We are paying a lot for the license to broadcast these videos so would have loved to lock every video.

So, lets say we have 4 offers on the lock and 6 new videos for the week.

Will the duplicate issue still not pop up?

As per unlocking the whole site idea.

Can one unlock it for lets say a month? Also ... asking them to complete multiple offers the first time
will that not be irritating? [ like i said please don't be angry for me asking these questions]

I just believe you are experienced in this type of marketing.

I just believe you are experienced in this type of marketing.

If you have 4 offers and 6 videos, then the most they will be able to unlock is 4 (assuming they complete an offer for each video). You need at least 1 offer per video.

You can choose the length of time that the site would be unlocked for. Depending on the niche, you may find different lengths are more effective than others. For a niche like yours, I would suggest 24 hours access when they complete an offer. If the content is good, they will come back on another day. Luckily, people can't watch too many videos in one day

Yes, CLP comes with a full, step-by-step tutorial on how to set it up, as well as some content locking methods, etc. and a few installation videos to make the process easier. We also have a dedicated Support team who are happy to assist should you run into any issues setting up or running CLP.

I bought the script and got it setup.. but gateway doesn't disappear despite the admin panel registering the offer has been completed..

I submitted a support ticket but I don't really want to wait around forever for a reply. Also, why is it a FORCED option for the gateway to reappear after X hours even though an offer has been completed?

We do have a no questions asked refund policy, but we've found that the vast majority of people asking for a refund usually have an issue that is an easy fix. Support shouldn't be taking 72 hours per response. While they are working (Mon-Fri) our average response time is 7 hours - this is something I track closely.

Either way, if we can't solve your issue (or even if we do and you still want a refund) that is not a problem. Just let support know and they will process it.
