Since PirateBay Cracked Down -- Where To Now?

I have been reading the forum and finding various things to try out all at once, keeping everything going for 6months - 1year and picking what I like best & make the most with.
Thought I would try out the torrent method but have noticed PirateBay has gotten strict with what goes up there.

Any suggestions as to what the best alternatives are? or maybe what to do NOT to get them to pull a torrent from PB?

I am talking about creating a torrent, locking the a .rar with a Sharecash offer and uploading it.
PB catches any upload like that in about 3 minutes flat (I tried).

Does anyone even fall for that anymore? Even when they're let through, the aware downloaders post comments almost immediately letting others know that it's fake.

Seems like a dumb method, aside from being a dick move.

Maybe if people wouldn't post fake torrents, they could post real ones, just lock the password the same way.

People may still be falling for it, but as techniques go even within torrent marketing, it's a screwdriver, whereas there's a whole tool box of other tactics you should be using. Don't be a one-trick pony in 2012 doing 2008 stuff forever, try other methods.

I totally agree with this & am trying to learn all the different techniques I can to see what does what.
I need to find a few good ones & master them, I know this, but it's hard starting out to see what I should be focusing on.
