Completely agree with this poster. However this is an experiment I recently ran:
I have a few domain names I want to develop sites on, they are medium traffic terms but the payouts from the affiliate programs are huge. I have been so busy lately I really haven't had the time to develop them and they were about to expire. So I grabbed a subscription to this spinner and spun a few dozen articles per site and uploaded them. All of a sudden these sites are ranking and bringing in traffic for some long tail terms. One of the sites is actually #5 on page one for it's core term using nothing but spun content and this was about a month ago. I am going to leave this content here as 'foundational' content to anchor down the sites and add some quality articles to them now that they have gain some traction. So this content is not useless you just need to gauge the risk when using them. I prefer to use high end well written content but these spun articles still have a role in SEO for some of us.

i am using spun content to my website.
i posted about 30 posts to my website but no traffic for 15 days i got about 60 pageviews only.
what's wrong am i doing?
will google detects spun content?
as i am not native speaker of english i can't support to write content on my selected niche and my keywords are very high competitive because it's insurance niche.
pls suggest me a good path to grow ...

I've got a rule for my authority sites - I write all the articles myself. That being said, spun articles are excellent for link building.

In 4-5 months WordAi will probably be good enough to get you the uniqueness/readability you need for an authority site. However, for now, I would use manually created content (or manually edited spins) for the content of your authority site.

Dunno about you but I found their article to be really "dry". While being very readable for computer generated (and I guess unique), I wanted to shoot myyself rather then read it all the way.
So while you will get probably get away with it, your fan base should suffer.

There are really no shortcuts. If you want decent content you need to pay or write it yourself.
