Say that I am targeting the keyword mortgages and I wanted to find search volumes in Ontario as oppose
to what google adword keywords tool offers which is just Canada.
How can I do this? Is there a tool out there that can do this? If so what it is?
Sorry I can't offer much help for finding the volume for an entire province. I do know you can just add a city name to the end like [mortgage broker toronto] (has 880 searches). I guess worst case you could check for all the major cities to get an idea of the total volume for the province. Hopefully someone else has a better solution.
Use Google suggestion tool, type your Kw + city and Google will tell you the top 10 by search volume. even those kws have low searches but it is worth to target them and GWT will not tell that.
The first 2 posts are as close as you're going to get to search counts. I mean, Ontario should be like 1/4 of Canada's searches unless it's a geotargetted keyword like 'toronto web design' or something. I've never seen Google release anything more targeted than by country.
