Is it 6 months too early to switch methods?

Okay. So, I pretty much starting learning about keywords,SEO and stuff since Feb 2012. I have set up squidoo lenses and a few micro niche blogger blogs . Yes, I am making affiliate sales but they aren't consistent and I am not making a big deal of money (big deal meaning 100$ per month).

I am better off doing ebay reselling and other reselling stuff which I used to do last year. I saw more profit and it was a lot easier. (I had to stop that because my paypal got limited because of shitty buyer who paid me through stolen paypal.)

I am a college student and now I am not finding enough time to research methods,apply them and stuff.

So, is it good idea to go back to reselling business? IDK, please help , I am unable to decide. I am trying to save money for grad school (the whole point of me starting IM) and I have about 1 and half year for that.

Just run with what you know and what ever is making you money right now. Bank that money and diversify later.

That is a really smart way of going about it. ^^^

If you're not making big money you want I don't think it is too early. I wouldn't through in the towel without giving it one last effort. Compare what you've got going on to others in your niche. Try something different and out of the box.

Yes that's exactly whats in my mind for my next project. No, I am not gonna quit IM.I love IM. Because with one of my methods I earned good cash last year. I was just wasn't careful enough. I will be careful this time.
May be affiliate marketing and adsense aren't my things right now. I need to more capital for outsourcing stuff if I want to make money. I will surely come back to AM and adsense in future . Right now, its time to make some hard core cash

I usually have about 6 different things going on at once. I find everything usually gets better with time. If I'm making a site and I'm trying to rank it and it doesn't (or even if it does but doesn't make the money I expected) I move on. I'll come back to it later, sometimes a week or two sometimes a few months and see how it ism often it's making more money than when I left it. If not, I look over everything and try again with it.


If you were making more money with ebay, like Andrew said, do both. Hell pick a couple new methods that don't require a huge amount of time and just try them out. People say all the time "don't put all your eggs in one baskey" usually referring to monetization methods but I also think that should apply to starting out. If you spent 6 months on a method and it's not working out like you thought you could have spent the same time working on 6 different methods for a month. At the same time, if you are making some sales there has to be a way to get more.
