Site related to kids

ok i ve got a really hot kids related domain. Just the domain. I m planning to create a website etc etc but my main problem is the content.
I ve made a small research in BHW as well as in the net for ideas and other similar sites and i found many. There are actually three categories: games related (flash games), education related and portals (mostly referred to the parents).
Now i m not sure how they do make money. As i understood they do make from the ads (i ve also read similar BHW threads).
So any other way i can make money out of it?

Don't get the games, link them from your site to the game sites. So visitors will go to your site first then to the main game website, you just have to work your SEO and your web layout right. Good luck!

It depends what your 'kids-related' domain is. If it's more related to having kids, raising kids, etc, then there are a ton of affiliate products you can promote very easily.

Obviously if it's kidgamer dotcom or something, then games would be the way to go...

OP is just in it for the money. If you really did research you would find out that flash games are overly poor earnings. So if you want to make that money you drool for, you go with making or supporting "Unity" level games like Slender and all that. You can go a step higher and make the games, but I highly doubt that you would even put that much effort into it. If your site really is all about the kids, you will know that most flash games are played by teenagers and adults. Expect less than $0.30 cpm and $0.01 a click per 1m traffic. As for moochiads and cpmstar they both pay crap, and unless you got 10m+ traffic plays per month you are going to be eating dog food for a while.
