recently I got a list of wesites that allows you to submit your site logo alongwith the website adress. I just want to know that does ir really works from SEO point of view? Has anyone used this technique before?

I think these website called business listing sites and there are big list for it.
but you should select the listing website according to your country if you want to rank in India then use .in for Australia .com.au. and Business Lsting is really helpful to get traffic and make your brand famous and also you will get good and natural backlink... go for it..

No These are completly differ from business listing sites. These logo submission sites allow only logo submission along with site URL, nothing else.

Are they do-follow. Image you publish on these sites might become visible on google image search which could lead some traffic to your site.

Getting approved in logo sites is very very difficult unless you have a logo designed by a good logo designer.

I wouldn't go in for that in quanitity.
Check the Authority and DomainPop of your list and make an extract of the best. This could be some nice juice I guess. Imagelinks are often overlooked for natural campaigns.
