Hi
If you keep hiring contractors and ending contracts without paying, will odesk eventually notice a pattern and ban?
I would be paying the contractors outside of odesk, probably by paypal.

Are you a fraud? Or a thief?

He's not scamming, he is paying them threw paypal and not going threw odesk is from what I'm getting from his post.
OP, I do this a lot myself I rather pay the contractor threw paypal myself then go threw odesk and it works out great for me but I do suggest paying a few of them threw odesk and the rest threw paypal just so it doesn't look obvious your just taking contractors from odesk and not paying threw odesk the only ones that lose is odesk because they won't collect a fee.

As said before i do this a lot with my contractors, but I also pay a few of them just to make it look good in odesk.

I find it hard to hire reliable freelancer on oDesk.
If you dont mind, can you share your experience for reliable & quality freelancer on there? Thanks

I am paying around 50$ per week from PayPal. and its totally OK. And why they will do this???? LOL

it's like anywhere else u have your people who will work and u have people who gonna BS around. It depends what your hiring contractors to do if your doing something like "web design" your gonna get 500 apps because people know web design is subjective. However if your hiring coders the best thing to do is do a test with them and also always pay them with a CC uploaded to your PP account so if push comes to shove u can just file a chargeback.

But finding good reliable contractors is hard to do in general doesn't matter who your using odesk or freelancer etc

Ah.. may be I got him wrong.

I advise you to use their inner system. Why? Well...first is the security. You know that you will receive the something for what you paid.
I had scam worth 6 grand with an employee(friend who payed 6 000 for 3 sites on this kind of site before 7 months and the sites still aren't finished). Don't ever use other system. It may be expensive but you may save lot of money because you can't be fooled or tricked.

If you can convince the contractor to pay him outside oDesk, then why not.. But as far as I am concern, paying outside oDesk is strictly prohibited. It's against their rules.

You can even linked your paypal account to oDesk as your "Payment Method". So why take the risk if there is a legal way to pay.
