Hi I am really new to using scrapebox and have been reading up on it for a few days. But I am still a bit confused as to what is the better way to go about doing it. So say I scrape a list of blogs with general keywords that are not niche related. Then I comment a general comment like "Nice blog, I appreciated the time you took to write it" which is pretty much what I been reading what to do. If i do not leave my tier 2 link in the comment do I still get a back link by just having it as my anchor link? This may seem really noob like but I have not been able to find a definite answer on this by searching. Also If I do how does that make my site rank better?

Yes. As long as you have your tier 2 links loaded up in "websites", you'll get a link, and there is no need to put the link in the comment.

Work on making your comments a bit more creative than that. I can guarantee you even if you wrote that one yourself you'll find thousands of duplicates for that exact statement.
Most comment boxes work something like this.... (correlating to the first 4 fields you are required to fill for comment poster)

Website:
Comment:
Name becomes your anchor text. So if you use the names generator it's going to be a person's name, or you can manually add your keywords/anchors and that way your anchor text is targeted to your niche.
In most cases it's not a good idea to try to post your URL in the actual comment box itself. Your success rate will be extremely low and it may or may not allow HTML though some blogs might allow it would probably get you flagged quicker as well.
Highest success rate overall is using a person's name, and your URL in the website input field. The next best (great for AA blogs especially) is using your keyword like "Acai Berry Diet" for your name which is what I do in most instances as of late.

I used that comment as an example. I actually put a lot of work into about 50 comments. Then spun them. Thank you for the replies. I just started using scrapebox and it seems like a very powerful tool that can do damage if you don't know what you are doing. So I wanted to get my facts straight. Also I was thinking what if I built up a auto approve blog list. Would it be smart to go back and comment with a niche related comment? Then have my buffer site link in the comment? Or would that not be smart?

I use niche related comments, but I don't really think it's necessary though. When I do blasts for other people I typically use generic comments that I've wrote and spun myself.
Best way to build an AA list is to blast a bunch of fake URLs in your websites list, and still use spun names/e-mails/and spun comments (different ones than you will use to your actual buffer sites) and then check links to see what sticks.
If by in the comment you mean in the actual text of the comment, it's not something most SB users do. I see this often with viagra/ugg boots and other super spammed out niches.
If by in the comment you mean putting your anchor text in the name field so that the link to your buffer site is your niche-related anchor text then yup that's how it's done in many circumstances.
