Is the parameter "vid" important on counting views?

Before some days, my Views bot stopped working.
I wonder if Youtube changed the views counting algorithm recently.

It's not really worth it anymore to do s.youtube.com views because the success ratio is very bad... &vid= is 'sk' from the youtube watch page and can be scraped.

What method did you use before then? And how many views counted from it?

For 16000 hits ,I had 15200 views.So it was a good rate.
But that stopped before 2 days.I don't know why.
