Hi, quick question everyone...

I see a lot of good methods on here for promoting CPA offers on Craigslist; little tricks to get around their spam filters and such.

So let's say I make a little landing page for my CPA offer, and direct traffic to it from Craigslist. Would my affiliate manager care if they come to my site from Craigslist? Because I'm not promoting the CPA offer directly on CL, which is what they seem to not like. Would they care where my website traffic comes from? Any chance of them asking any of the leads how they came across my site and signed up for the offer?

I'm only asking because I have a MaxBounty account, which people say is one of the best CPA networks out there. If this is likely to get me banned, I'd rather get a "throw-away" account at a crappier network to do this.

if you make a landing the last referer will be your landing page.No need to worry about.

Yes, just don't direct people straight from CL you should be good to go.

On a side note, I hope someone can explain to me why CPA networks (most of them anyways), are so against receiving traffic from CL.

The reason why craiglist traffic is banned is because it doesn't convert.

Commission Junction banned me and kept my $1400. I was using CL with a landing page.

Not always true. Sometimes it converts well enough. Most of the times in fact. The reason some advertisers/networks do not want CL traffic is that there's a certain amount of deception involved with CL traffic. You have to deceive the visitors a bit or a lot for them to convert which is not okay with most of the advertisers. The visitors can complain to the advertiser or CL for it. CL can take legal actions for that.
